Great campground with great staff. Excellent fishing with electric and water hookups. Location is a bit different as it is a long a major highway so you will constantly hear semi Jake brakes all night. Aside from the noise, fishing is great and water is clean. Very clean bathrooms and showers. Grocery store and liquor store within 2 miles. Can't bring your own firewood but they have bundles on site for $6 along with fishing tackle.

I almost didn't stay because of reviews but any port in a storm. From first call the young lady was pleasant and very polite. I stayed 2 nights, paid for three as I wanted to check on at 10 or 11 am. They charge by the hour before 4pm so it's best to pay e days for 2 nights. Latest check-in I've seen in 30 years of rv use. That said, it is a beautiful campground. Late in season so I did not see any use of water toys etc. Has to be fun for kids in the summer. I was alongside interstate, pull thru site. Trucks did not bother me at all. Beautiful views.Walkability: Great for walking in campground.

Love the campground. Very clean and orderly. RV sites are fairly spacious - campers not on top of one another. Loved looking out over the lake and enjoying the breeze on hot summer days. The problem is that I-65 is literally next to the campgrounds (we were across the lake and probably no further than 200 yards from the interstate and the traffic NEVER stops. Luckily, the a/c at night mostly drowned out noise. ) This was really the only drawback to this pretty campsite.

Huge shout out to Jennifer!! She was absolutely awesome! From the moment i met her, all the phone calls, every time i came to the office, she was polite, informative, patient, and kind. not just to me but to my whole family. the deluxe cabin was perfect! Having a fridge, microwave, a shower, and AC was a huge plus! only thing i would recommend is a jam for the front door to keep it open. my grandkids loved the family fun zone!! Do i wish it was closer to cabins?! Yes! lol. Thank you for a wonderful stay! we will be back!

We have been camping at Caboose Lake for at least the last 5 years. Every year the experience has become less and less enjoyable. We started camping here because it meets the needs of our family and friends. We camp with an RV and so do our friends. My son and daughter in law use one of the available yurts. We choose a particular weekend in July bc the grandkids enjoy the Beach themed weekend. Of course, there is an additional charge per day to enjoy the activities at the beach. When we first started camping here, we would rent a golf cart for the weekend. We would be able to park it at our site for the weekend and use it as needed(like late night bathroom runs). Now, the gold cart cannot be taken until 10am and must be returned at 8pm. If you are late, there is a fine. On Saturday, my hubby went to get the golf cart and no one was at the office to get them. He, and others, waited almost an hour for the cart. The owner would not consider a one hour refund. At 75.00 a day, losing one hour is pricey. On Sunday, the price is the same but the cart must be back by 5pm. No credit for the lost 3 hours. There is either a fine or extra charge for everything.Speeding - fineHaving garbage picked up- fineOutside wood- fineThere are cameras in several locations. You will be texted or called if something is not allowed. We were dropping dinner materials and chairs off at a friend's site. They received a text that an unregistered car was on their site. We were there five minutes. We are not people who break the rules for fun. I really don't care about the different fines. But, I do care about the increased nickel and diming, especially when there is no give and take. If your staff is not there to hand out golf carts, then you should be willing to return money to the folks that are paying a lot of money to rent those carts. Also, a smile hello every now and then doesn't hurt business

The old lady/ manager or owner is very unfriendly she accused me of going over the speed limit by walking in front of my car trying to get hit and threaten to fine the people I was visiting for no reason. I told her I was going home and she said good super unprofessional. Then ran over to the camper of my friends telling them I tried to run her over (crazy lady walked in front of my car that was moving) and told them I wasn’t welcomed back. Mind you she smelled like alcohol what a great employee?

Campground was clean and nice...bath house too. The only thing that bothered my husband and I was they asked for a credit card for "incidentals." This made us nervous and we didn't like that we couldn't be trusted. We were afraid to do anything wrong and find a charge on our credit card we didn't deserve. We had to initial multiple times beside many rules and regulations to the point we felt like guilty mischievous teenagers. Nowhere else have we had to do this. The park was nice except for these things.

The owner is very rude. After all of my violation fines, it was $1000 for 2 weeks. I asked a simple question about the weather and got a smart answer in return. After a day of being there, she made several remarks to me about parking my truck in the overflow lot. My truck was the only one in our camping spot during the day. She sent my wife a text about speeding and charged the card on file $25. It felt like you're always being watched and wondering if anything you do is wrong and gonna be fined. Our fifth wheel barely fit in the gravel spot and I had to park sideways in the of it. It was a very unpleasant camping experience.Edit: She's a joke and so is the campground. My wife's car barely fit sideways in front of our 5th wheel. She's gonna say anything to cover her tail. Don't waste your time or money.

Unfriendly at check in. Nickle and dime you for everything. The noise from the highway is terrible with truck Jake brakes and overall traffic noise. Also, campground rules and regulations didn't show up in our e mail until a day or so before our stay, and it was too late to cancel reservations for a refund. Just an overall bad experience. Will never return. No soup for you!!

They charge to use the inflatables in the water which other campgrounds have them as an amenity. They doubled charged us for firewood so check your statements. They only have one restroom/showers which isn’t convenient for the campers on the one side of the park. We also had to pay a $5 booking fee and a $15 fee to reserve a specific site.

Think twice…. They nickel and dime you for everything. The elderly lady has the worst customer service and would not let us purchase wrist bands for that day and the next because she closed out her drawer 2 hours before they closed. We asked if the kids could just still go on the inflatables and she said no and we could just buy the $10 tickets tomorrow. (We were the only ones left with kids in the campground.). She yelled at us as we were driving in to slow down but we were going 5 mph and did the same for the people next to us. She did not have a radar gun so if you get charged (yes there is a charge if you speed), better ask for some proof. However, it was okay for her to drive fast in the campground well over that! The campground is right off I65 so be prepared to listen to trucks and traffic. Since there are large truck stops off the exit, it’s makes it worse. Be prepared to bring extra hose, as you share water with the person next to you and you may have to run it under your RV to get to it. They won’t let you bring in firewood and charge $6 for a bundle which is fine, however they were tiny pieces, not typical of other campgrounds in the area.

Believe the negative reviews about the manager. They are true. She makes you feel like you’re bothering her when you walk in the office, you pass her outside and she turns her head. Never a hello or smile. Cameras around campground. They offer golf carts, concession Stand, and other things that aren’t actually there or aren’t open and there are ONLY 3 golf carts for rent. We had a big family get together and no one in our group will ever return. She turns off her cart lights driving around trying to catch people doing something wrong, turns them on after she gets by. Cabins were left cleaner than when we got there. We did not get “in trouble or fined” for anything because we follow rules. The feeling of being a burden and unwelcome is the main reason for not returning. The 5 MPH rule is a little overkill. They have radar…. Our car idles faster than that. 8-10 MPH seems more appropriate.

The owner will come out to talk down to you. Not a friendly woman. She's not invincible to reviews. The staff will hunt you down to tell you you went 7 mph in a 5. They will make you move your car if you come home from lunch. I went there to repair 2 RVs. The owner made me not work on the roof leaks over the weekend. Mind you it rained this past weekend. All the people I spoke to that stay there long term plan to leave because of this strict staff. The lake spot we had was great, I wish the staff wouldn't have ruined it. I65 is 40 yards away. A major semi exit, Jake brakes every minute. I wouldn't return here for anything, not even work unless they changed their ways.Nearby activities: NoneSafety: Good safety, overbearing staff
