Contacted Van winkles to get a vehicle fixed.was told to just call in every morning about.
9 to see, if they can get it in that day to do it, they don't make appointments. They don't have much help. And that would.
Be the best way I have never been to a garage and heard that.
I didn't know what to say. I thought it was a joke I dont know what's happened to Van winkles but it is not the repair center it used to be.
Sad, sad sad.

I experienced an incident where there was some damage done to my car when I brought it in for an oil change. Dave made sure everything was taken care of and took responsibility for the damage done.he was very apologetic and check on things through the whole process. He paid for everything that needed fixed and also made sure I had a rental while it was being fixed. Also a shout out to Matthew at Martin’s body shop for his professionalism and making things easier on me. Martin’s earned 5 stars also! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

My little brother is 17 and works VERY HARD for everything he owns. DAVE CLEARLY DOESNT. This place will charge you full price, and give you your car back in worse condition than you left it. Ended up costing my brother hundreds more than what he should've ever had to pay. They left the rim cracked, and put under half of the air in the tire than needed. This place DOES NOT and I repeat DOES NOT AND WILL NOT take care of YOU or YOUR FAMILY. STAY AWAY!!!!! THIS PLACE IS A SCAM!!!!!!

My 16 year old nephew went this week to have tires put on, the owner David was mad and made it very clear because my nephew bought the tires on-line it hurts his business and he would put the tires on but would charge double. First off David this is a 16 year old kid you was talking too, second off my sister told you when front ones was due she would get them from you. Our family has done a lot of business with your shop, however after talking to him the way you did and you or one of your working cracked his rim, you put the tire on and sent him down the road. Luckily nothing bad come about it, like a wreck, but you sir have lost all our families business. Learn how to talk to customers, especially kids!!

I took my 16 year old boy to get two tires that we had already got to David Van Winkles in Ramsey IN to put on the back. We had already had the Tires and Rims off and there was no damage, we thought about going somewhere else. But I had never had any problems with David. I took the car up there Monday Morning and David was standing an said y’all ruin my Business cause you want to order tires online and I’m gonna charge you Double for that. I said okay that’s fine. He was the most HATEFUL person I’ve dealt with that owned there own Business talking to customers like he did. The only thing that’s RUINING his Business is his MOUTH and he BUSTED my Son’s RIM on his car and my Son Drove it home
Like that and the tire would not stayed aired up because DAVID VAN WINKLE Busted his RIM
Did not ever offer to fix it or replace it.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE I MEAN ANYONE TO THIS MAN AT ALL NOT ONLY CAUSE HIS VERY VERY RUDE MOUTH BUT HIS VERY VERY AWFUL SERVICE. He made it very clear he was Sooooo BOILING MAD cause we bought tires somewhere else. I told him I would buy the front ones from him when they were due. BUT AFTER picking the car up and THE BAD SERVICE HE DONE AND DIDNT OFFER TO FIX OR REPLACE THE RIM AND LET MY SON DRIVE UNSAFE. THIS MAN COULD OF GOT MY SON IN A BAD WRECK
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND NOBODY TO EVER GO HERE. HE TALK TO US AWFUL AND AWFUL SERVICE
I should have not left the car there cause DAVID VAN WINKLE was SO SOO MAD. But I never Dreamed a man that ownes a BUSINESS WOULD DO A KID THAT WAY or Even Me or any CUSTOMER. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO HIM HES VERY UNSAFE ESPECIALLY WHEN HE’S MAD.

Honestly wish I could put 0 stars Dave was a complete a hole cause I didn’t buy tires from him and he also broke me rim thanks for charging me double and costing me a rim I will never come back and neither will I ever bring my customers from my small engine shop here either

Super friendly staff and management. Very knowledgeable about what they do here. VanWinkle's has been in business for years and you can tell why. Great customer service, not too expensive, does a great job on everything they do and it's usually always done in a very timely manner. I've been taking car here for 13 years and will continue to do so.
