Order placed on the 7th paid for 3 day shipping and i am now writing this review on the 16th with no product in hand and no tracking information honestly just go to your local thrift store grab some old clothes and modify then yourself and avoid the head ach and let down from a company that cant keep a deadline

Last 4 item were out of stock. Suggestions for substitutes did not match what I needed. 2-4 month was the approximate wait. So can’t use this season. I could understand 1, maybe 2 items, but 4.
That’s just bad business. I would post photos, but unfortunately, there’s nothing to take pictures of.

I've made several purchases from Medieval Collectibles, and it's always great items! I had to call customer service today and spoke with Destiny, who was by far the best CS representative I've ever spoke with in any company! Handled my problem, changed my address on an order, and was exceptionally polite and helpful!

Honestly it's a 50/50 shot if you're going to get something decent. The clothes are not well made, but good luck getting a repair if it breaks the first time you put it on. I didn't even ask for my money back I just wanted them to fix a panel that came apart the first time I tried to wear the dress. They refused repair or returns stating that the dress broke because I was too big for it. Seeing as the dress was too big, I'm not sure how that happened.
Customer service is a nightmare. I filed the repair request, sent two separate emails, then finally had to call in to figure out what has going on. This process took 3 weeks since I gave ample time for a reply after each attempt at contact.

Just a heads up. Ordered from Canada, the border fees was more than the dresses. This was not clearly stated when we first ordered and was handcuffed when charge during mid delivery. Unfortunately, ordering here again is not feasible for Canadians unless you absolutely need/want it and don't mind the surprise charge along the way.

What a FANTASTIC store! It isn't a brick and mortar store, but it is an online store. However, they graciously allowed my husband and me to place an order in the reception area and have it filled within 15 minutes! They have such a great selection!

I ordered a robe at the beginning of january and its now the middle of march, it just got here today, i ordered large and its like 3 XL, i can fit three people in this robe, the sleeves are comicly large nothing like the sleeves shown in photos on the site, it smells like a rubber factory and i dont think its the same color as the one on the site

Ordered this Item along with a tabard, as you can see the chain mail did not fit as pictured which showed it completely connecting in the front. When I contacted customer service about returning it they gave me nothing but push back coming up with all kinds of excuses and refused to send me a return shipping label suggesting I order a different size. Even though I was already having a bad experience I was assured by the customer service representative that I would be able to return the Items I did not want. My curiosity got the best of me and I ordered the same two Items in the next sizes up so I would not have to pay for return shipping twice. Keeping one order of the same product I neatly packaged and returned the duplicate order again at my own expense as instructed by the customer service rep. After 2 mos of not hearing anything from Medieval Collectables I researched and found that they only refunded the less expensive item ( the tabard) to my original form of payment. To make an even longer story shorter and after the hoops I jumped through at the request of medieval collectables providing post office receipts and other evidence of the return they said they only received the tabard in the undamaged box through the United States Post Office and that no matter the evidence showing the original weight shipped on the receipt they insisted that the product mysteriously disappeared and that they were washing their hands of it. Well after years of being a customer and receiving daily email advertisements from them I am severing the relationship and can not in good faith recommend any of my acquaintances, family or friends do business with such a lacking in customer service organization.

Zero stars if it was possible. I ordered a sword and a dagger for my son for Christmas on Nov 18. It is Dec 21 and it still hasn't shipped. I called "customer service" on Dec 11 and was told the sword was ready but not the dagger. I asked if they could at least ship the sword at their expense as I ordered more than thirty days before Christmas. I was told that the "supervisor" said no. They said I could choose a different dagger that was already in stock or wait for both of my original choices to be ready. I took a look at some other daggers but they didn't match the sword and I would have had to pay MORE for the other daggers. This is terrible "customer service". Medieval Collectibles take ZERO responsibility for their vendors and offers nothing to customers. This is not a sustainable business. I urge all other customers to work directly with the makers (there are a slew of them online) and cut Medieval Collectibles out of the equation.

I've always had a great experience buying from this company, a large part of which is the company's attentive customer service. I chatted electronically with a representative named Taylor today (11/24/23) who helped me find just the right cloak I was seeking. This is a great company!
To the company: I appreciate being able to reach someone the day after Thanksgiving, but I would gladly have left a message and waited until Monday. If you aren't already, you should pay your reps time-and-a-half for days like today. Everybody needs to make a living, and I find people in the service areas don't always get the best, appreciative treatment. Cheers! :-)

I was a little nervous to order after reading all the different reviews but am fully satisfied that I chose to order. I ordered a Chieftains Viking sword and I got it in less than a week. It is everything I expected and wanted. I would definitely order again from this company.

I searched for a Monk's habit and hood--didn't want a cheap polyester thing from Amazon, but didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on the "Real thing." I found Medieval Collectibles and found a nice, high-quality, cotton costume for a fair price. The fit was perfect. Was able to pay with Paypal Pay-in-4 which was nice. Next Halloween, I'm coming here first! Good response from Customer Service on a quick follow-up question. Shipping was fast. Very happy! Thanks!!!!
