I’m from out of town and visiting for the weekend. I found a sweet kitten in need of help and had no idea what to do. Mary was so helpful and reassuring during my situation! Thank you to these folks for trying to help this kitty out even though I’m not from here.

We donated some blankets and toys for the animals. Took a walk through to say hi to all the animals, it broke my heart, I want to take them all home with me! ?

I called about two missing dogs that came to my house. One of them was microchipped but not put into the new owners name when rescued so it still showed the Gibson Co. Animal Shelter as the owner. It took them a couple hours to get back with me. I was frustrated at first because I had two dogs inside that needed to come out to potty but was scared to socialize them. Sometimes we look at things just in our point of view and forget all of the things going on at the shelter. They were dealing with an emergency. They did call me back and told me they contacted the owner and they would be there in 20 minutes. The owner picked them up and all was good. They did their job to the best of their ability and we all need to give them some grace. They do this every single day and see and do things we would never want to deal with but they do it every day so I praise them.

Tried calling the emergency on call number just for them to reject the call. Because of that my cat suffered for hours bc they couldn't be bothered

I would've rated a 5 but when I went to dogs area they were barking really loud and I couldn't hear and they were scary! the cats were nice some would try to cling on you very nice staff and place I recomed.

"We know about them" does not fix the problem of a person not containing their dog. I have called as well as others, if this dog attacks me or my dog I will be suing all parties involved.

I never wanted to go to the Animal Services because I thought it would be sad but these animals need people and attention they need blankets they need food they need boys so people should go out and donate whatever they can to these animals and maybe possibly adopt one. Every animal deserves a nice home and to be loved all of them
