Luke from cabinets was so nice. I was missing a cabinet, and he was very helpful. Made me feel better.

Monday afternoon, 90° and the garden center has no checkout and obviously door locked. This is bad business, ok in the winter, not summer.

Galloway pub table had a price of $499, was told by NICOLE that its $499 for base even though it said table. To purchase the complete table it would be $1,199, told her I was going to go to Michigan City they had one on clearance for $599.99 complete table, even showed her the picture I took. Got to Michigan City the price now say $1,199 I was told Nicole called them prior to me arriving and told them they had the wrong price on it, so change it because I was on my way. Michigan City said had not she called they would have sold it to me for the $599.99 price, Remind you I traveled over an hour each way!!! Highly upset and don't get me started on the GM at Portage Luke, is took it all as a joke!!!

My daughter purchased an item for her dad for father's day. She did this on the website, he went and picked it up when it was brought home we realized it was used and found out they sold the display one. Very unprofessional unless you mark it down to a lower price and let the customer know. They did let us bring it back and we found something similar and same pricing it took forever to get taken care of and they should have had all of this in their system.
We have gone into other Menards and never had an issue and was treated very nice.
Disappointed!!

Was looking for grass seed bought Ultra lawn patch, number 2661822 for $26.99 turns out this 20 pound bag is just green pellets of newspaper and less than one penney of grass seed and NO seed inside pellets. Then went to Tractor supply and bought grass seed, out front they have what they call horse bedding same little pellets 50 pounds for $7. I already called and talked to the manager she said her name was Jackie and sent an email about this with no response. No in store credit or refund because I only have the receipt they want to see the empty bag but i threw that away.

Gavin, in paint was very knowledgeable on what was best for our project. He took his time actually listening to what we are wanting to achieve. He made appropriate suggestions ultimately saving us time, money, and effort. It's a rarity to see a young person take their job seriously, have initiative. Side note, that area was very busy, but he still took his time.

Bought a 40 lbs bag of dog food and 2 dog bones and a toy, got home only had 1 dog bone and a toy and my dog food. Called them 10 minutes later and told them so they had to check the cameras to see if I was trying to hustle another 7$ dog bone out of them! Lmao place is ridiculous! It’s a dog bone I’ll take the loss but most stores would say just bring your receipt and grab another one. Not sure how many people pay for dog bones get home then call back up to come get a free dog bone but it must happen often cause I felt like they were saying I stole it or something. Really gonna check the cameras? I paid for the stuff, unreal what this country has been turned into. Whatever I’ll buy my stuff elsewhere where they don’t think everyone is a thief. Never got my dogs bone and she’s pissed off! Maybe I messed up bagging my own stuff, but since I don’t work there I’m not a professional like their management.

I had a key made today and got home and it does not work. Do I need to come back to this specific location or can I go to the one in my home town to get a new one? Thank you.

I rented a truck to haul a dozen sheets of standard chipped, low grade Menards drywall, and some of their famous warped framing lumber. Unfortunately when I returned the truck I accidentally bumped the rental sign with the rear bumper, and immediately notified staff. Management (Dave) was unnecessarily abrasive, and although I was only trying to find a solution for the “damage” I did, he just continued badgering me insisting that I caused the 1” scratch on the bumper. The other trucks in the lot also have this exact same scratch. Long story short they kept my $350 deposit and filed a claim with my insurance company which will likely raise my premiums. All this for a superficial scratch that could have been buffed out. A scratch I’m not entirely convinced I caused. You would think since the building materials are always subpar they’d make up for it in customer service- think again

Horrible customer service, my husband and I came in for a few things and to walk around to compare and price for my coming garden this year. A forklift driver almost hit a group of people with young children and ourselves, i turn to the older gentleman on the forklift and scolding him because he did not have anyone helping him to guide for safety or roped off the area that he was working in. He was so busy trying to pay attention to what we was doing and playing security guard that he almost caused a major collision.. He got mad and call security to the garden section as we was leaving, we started to walk around just to pick up a few more things just get followed throughout the store by multiple employees. Once we got to the checkout out the young lady had the nastiest attitude because their card machine was not working properly. Do better people are paying their hard earned money to keep that place head above water, treat people with a little more respect. Stop following all the minorities thinking they’re stealing.

Left work to pick up some cans of high performance enamel for scissor lifts that my company repairs. Website said they had the paint in stock. Get to the store, and they are not in stock! Wasted 30 minutes. This is not the first time either. Why doesn't Menards just do away with showing whether or not items are in stock? Just have your customers call in if you can't manage your inventory.
