“It's a bit run down. The track walls need to be repainted; not sure why it wasn't when they closed to repair and paint. One stationary bike has been broken for months; it's the only one that style. They "updated" their app but the only thing it's good for is your bar code to enter. No events, messages, calendar, or any way to contact them. When I asked when it would be complete, I was told "they're working in it". Also months ago. Why not keep the old app that worked while you create a better one? Staff regularly enters the track walking in the wrong direction, because they're headed to a classroom. But the classroom is accessible if you walk the right way too, or use another set of stairs. The public and children do this as well. Could be resolved with better signage and staff meetings. I've had several near collisions. It's the only facility with a walking track or I'd go to a different gym.”

5699 E 73rd Ave, Merrillville“EEU is a great place for handicapped children to go for supervised and hand guided horse riding lessons. Their barn collapsed under the weight of the the recent heavy snow and they need help to rebuild it. The horses are all okay and being boarded elsewhere. This is a non profit organization that has done so much good for so many. Please consider donating. They will need volunteer labor as well as monetary donations. Their website has information on how to contact them and ways to help.”
“These people are so kind and put a great effort to get things REPURPOSED!
We have money to throw stuff out and buy new, but our values can't accept that. We stop in a couple times a month to find things we can use to create with. We create furniture, lamps, artsy stuff, and have found materials for electrical renovation, floor tiling, countertops, sometimes old tools they don't make that well anymore.”
“Best community arts organization in the NW Indiana region.Volunteer driven they host 8 visual art exhibits a year as well as classes, events, and a seasonal farmers market down the street.”
