My new glasses are great and more clearer than any of my previous glasses. I use to go elsewhere for my glasses and had to pay over $200 dollars even with insurance, thanks to America’s Best, I got these for around $50. They also came in 5 days since the appointment, they got it done fast. I would definitely recommend coming here when getting your first or new pair of glasses.

I went to this America’s Best location in Portage, IN for the first time last week. The customer service is phenomenal! The staff is very friendly and informative about what they offer. I have previously gone to another location for years, and they have never once done an eye exam as professional or as thorough as this doctor! I absolutely love this location and will continue to come here for as long as I need!

They didn't take my insurance, but Kat, who answered the phone and all my questions was simply delightful! That's how customer service should be. Give her a raise!

From the reception, the exam by the friendly optometrist to the actual use of my new glasses, every step was seamless and efficient. I didn’t realize how much of an improvement of my vision would be until I put them on; like the difference between night and day! Thanks to all involved, especially the discovery of the benefit from AARP!

Terrible experience the advertisement was 2 pair for 147. 234.00 later my glasses only 1 pair !! They are not in at a week!! Its actually 2 week time frame and everything else ie the blue light and transitions are extra. Don't be scammed like I was. And when I called customer service to file a complaint they said " well ma'am " I don't know who gave you that info it's 10-14 days. Well I won't ever go back here or recommend America's Best to anyone.. America's worst ??!! Be warned !! To add to the saga of America's Best they told me to come in and pick up my glasses after over 2 weeks I go there and they say I'm sorry your glasses are broken so now they have to call to order around to see if they can find a frame that's not on the board and I'm still without my glasses America's worst don't go there!!!

Great service, very friendly staff from receptionist to the Dr. They answered all my questions and were knowledgeable in their respective sections. There were many frames to choose from and I felt no pressure to spend more than necessary, which I've experienced before at other eye stores. I like scheduling online, which is very convenient for me.

The people working were very kind. I I've 3 stars solely on the fact that because I had to call the insurance while I was there. (Because they told me I had to) my appointment would be late so I'd have to reschedule. Waste of my time, I already have an appt at Meijers in one hour.

I love my glasses from America's Best...but for the second time in just a few weeks I damaged my glasses.I went to America's Best in Portage both times and they got me all fixed up and with a smile each time... The 1st time Joann repaired where I had let them get too loose. She fixed more than I even knew was wrong and was so kind.The second time I crushed my prescription sunglasses. I was pretty sure they were a lost cause but Arely worked a miracle!!! She did an amazing job and was so delightful! They were very warped and mangled and the lens had fallen out!Both times I was taken care of very promptly, professionally, with great care, and a smile.Thank you Portage America's Best!

I don't know about other employees but Kelli and Susan were extremely helpful and kind, they gave me some new knowledge about my transitions while getting my new pair ready. Cleaned my other pair I wore into the store and helped tighten the screws for free.Thank you both, thought the pink glasses and green nails looked great keep the energy and enthusiasm for your jobs up :).
