Avoid Ziebart for Installations!
I had a remote start installed at Ziebart, but it stopped working shortly after. I brought my car back, and while they got the remote start working again, it came with a new set of problems: now, my car keys and headlights don’t work. When I asked Ziebart about they ask me to bring it to them. They checked my car but denied responsibility for the issue with my car.
I took my car to another mechanic shop, who confirmed that Ziebart’s work on the remote start installation caused these issues. Now I’m left with a costly fix that shouldn’t have been necessary.
Save yourself the frustration and money — do NOT go to Ziebart!!!!

It is often said that companies don't value customers and no one wants to work. We are very pleased to state that Ziebart in Plainfield has the best customer service and their workmanship is great. For 30 years we have trusted our cars to Ziebart and never have been disappointed. Bobby has always done a great job in rust proofing our cars. Everyone has always greeted us with smiles and can-do attitudes. We would like to say that Nate and Moe did an outstanding job on our 20-year Army Willy Jeep with their deep-wax detailing. They truly did a Quality and Make-a-Difference job on Willy...and were also fantastic to work with.
Thanks to everyone at Ziebart for taking care of their customers!

Great place. I get my car detailed here. I have the Gold protection package. Can go back once a year for it. Just added ceramic window ti t to the front windshield. Will keep our the heat from the sun. Great customer service too. Highly recommend.

Ziebart did a great job until i saw a tear in back seats. Car has always looked and feels brand new. Not one scratch and dents. Working 16 hours each day, and 5 days later I put my cleaned floor mats back in my car and noticed in my rear passenger seat had a long scratch and tear. They denied it and am searching for a lawyer for property damage. I'm livid and disgusted they denied their accountability. There is no accountability if you dropped your car always new then come back to see theres a damage. Take a video and pictures inside and out. I didn't think I had to for that but each year, I will. Just please be careful.
They told me that they don't detail my seats when I paid for them to condition my leather seats. Then what's the definition of detail when ziebart does exactly that.
The funny thing is that my car is important to me like my house. Having OCD, makes them look and sound ridiculous. I'm a very meticulous person. I work really hard for what I have. And they insult me by playing dumb. I'll go to the damn news or any media to call them out on there BS.
Then there was dirt on the ceiling touching the driver door. The manager told me they don't detail Or touch that. Well, (in my head) evidently someone did. The manager said go to a local auto zone to take the dirt out. Never going to Plainfield ziebart. Poor business practice.

Took my truck in for it's annual service, decided to have them detail it while they had it. Whoever "detailed" the inside, needs to go back to Detail School. The carpet had been vacuumed, but didn't look like it had been shampoo'd, there were several places around the dashboard area that were still dusty, and it wiped off with my finger, so I know they didn't even run a wet towel over certain areas. Overall, it was semi decent, but definitely NOT worth the $330 they charged me for it. I'll let them continue to do my annual service, but I'll start taking it to a Professional Detailer for the inside.

Admittedly, we've been customers since before Saturn car dealers were big. Every vehicle we've owned (9) has had Zeibart treated, maintained, and cleaned.
Since using the Plainfild location for going on 2 decades, we've always found the staff to go out of their way to accommodate us in about every way possible! They even found coupons to make things more affordable!
The entire staff is more than willing to make every little detail perfect. If not, they are right there to fix it.
Now, if they offered to pickup and deliver (in a reasonable radius), that would be amazing!
There has been some comments about their hours of operation. Mostly, this world does work on the hours of 8-5. If the customer works 35 minutes away, they will have to take time out of work. Most employers frown on that. I'm sure that many customers would appreciate the extra 30 minutes they'd need to do pickup or drop off.
Of course this applies to those that don't work retail hours.

Ziebart in Plainfield does such a great job. I don’t even live on the west side but drive to Plainfield because they are that good. They have a terrific team. Lee checked us in and was friendly and helpful. He offered additional services, but wasn’t at all pushy. My car always looks like new before I leave.
