“Seriously exceptional service and staff. My poor baby just had to have his leg amputated. Kayli and the other techs kept me updated the whole time they were in surgery, Dr. Haithcox let me blow up their emergency text line with concerns about his first night in recovery. They’ve really been so wonderful through this devastating time and I wouldn’t want my sweet boy to be under anyone else’s care.”

Jayda is one of the best vet techs I’ve ever experienced, she loves your pets and is so easy to talk to. “My girlfriend brought in our kitty, who we found abandoned at a very young age. She couldn't have been more than a few weeks old. We had noticed the kitty became extremely lethargic out of the blue, and we knew something wasn't right. They got her in right away with no questions asked. They tried everything they could, but unfortunately, our kitty didn't make it through. My girlfriend was heartbroken, sobbing. The girls helped to console her, and the Dr's told her not to worry about payment. (Which made her start sobbing even more). This was just a reminder that there really are still amazing people out there with big hearts.
To add to it, they sent a card in the mail expressing their condolences, and a few of the ladies even hand wrote their messages on the card.
This is an example of exemplary customer service and a situation where they did what was right and not just collected payment for their services. Thank you all so much!”
“The vets and their staff are currently saving my dog's life. They are knowledgeable, patient and kind. My questions and concerns are answered in a very timely fashion and with respect. Heart Worm is a horrible thing to put a dog through. Always give your dog the medication that protects them from this parasite. Our good boy is a rescue and was found to have this disease this last spring. I have every hope he will pull through.”

We had horses that Dr.Blackwell cared for and Dr.Rowe and her staff take care of the dogs. I would not take my animals anywhere else. These people are caring and compassionate not only ode the ant. But the people too!”

“I was as nervous as my GSD Moses! From the front desk ,to the vet technicians to the Doctor. They all are so sweet, and not only care for your pet but ,they really care for the owner of pet as well. This place really welcomes you like family and open arms. My Moses been ill and i'am a new mom. I called they got me in a very busy schedule. Moses never seen them yet. The pulled thru to squeeze us in . Even that being said ,they took time with Moses. They didn't rush or make me feel they needed to hurry . They impressed me. They calmed my dog and they calmed me to. They answered all questions. Educated me on things I had no ideal about. When I called them with issues Moses was having ,I was crying . They talked me Thur what to do until my apt. They told me if I needed more help or questions call them back and again they will walk me Through what to do. Now I know it's my first experience with them and first illness visit. I hope it's like the experience I'm telling you about I had every time. If you need a place to go and you don't know where or if your at a place your not getting the care Moses and I received ,you need to call now your loved one deserves the best and you deserve to be treated with love compassion and understanding of you pet and educated . Asking questions to learn what's best for your pet shouldn't be made to make you feel bad or your a bother. Ok I'm done telling the world how great this place is . “I absolutely love Avon Veterinary Clinic. We found them about 5 years ago and have been going there ever since. We have had numerous yearly visits, spay and neuters as well as other medical issues having 4 pets. Dr. Mehringer and staff have always been great to us! Their prices are fair and they never pressure you to do more than you’re comfortable with or can afford.
A lot of times animal people are not people people but this clinic sets the standard to take care of both pet and owner.”

“Go see LINDSEY she’s the super affordable professional pet groomer there she’s got 19 yrs experience under her belt and does amazing work with your animal and is very kind and patient with all pets she’s also won a couple contests with her work! I take my two babies to her and she’s always done what’s best and made them look beautiful and they always smell amazing! I’m talkin they smell so good for daysssss!”
“We had to go to Noah’s West Side in the early morning hours for my son’s cat who had been hit by a car. They were very accommodating and had excellent bedside manner. Both the Nurse, Ariel, and Doctor did an excellent job. They have a very tough job. And they were both very professional, yet sympathetic to our situation. Couldn’t have asked for more from them.”

“I have taken my dogs here for years. They have never tried to push treatment just to make money. Had both of my puppies spayed this week, and it was a smooth and easy process, less than half the cost of a spay for just one at any other clinic. Sometimes it’s a headache to get someone on the phone, but the text process isn’t too bad. You have to expect some degree of trouble with scheduling when a place is so reasonably priced and in high demand. Thanks for taking such good care of my babies.”
