No greeting upon arrival. Severally Understaffed leading to long wait times & No advertisements of the fact that it doesn’t honor online sales or agreements…so basically a waste of time if you’re wanting to become a new customer with Verizon! Wasmy experience anyways

Did not originally plan to offer a review and/or complaint; however, after reading some of these reviews, comparing their experiences along with my most recent experiences I thought would offer my last two trips to this store. First, I dropped my phone and broke the screen protector (with a lifetime warranty) only to be told if I buy a new one I can be done in just a few minutes but if I want to proceed with a warranty then I will have to wait because they would have to get into my account to process the claim which they ultimately had to do to anyway to add the new protector onto my account. Kinda feel robbed!! But then just 2 weeks later, my wife and I decide that we are going to get our parents new Apple phones for Christmas. Go to the store after having been a client for 20 years only to be told "that we could not do that at a Verizon store and that we should go to Best Buy". Starting to see a trend with the employees telling clients to go to Best Buy. I am a business owner and if one of my employees directed a client of 20 years to go somewhere else to spend nearly $4,000.00 they would be IMMEDIATELY be terminated. Thinking this stores employees must have stock in Best Buy or something. Verizon you either need to look into your policies or better select your employees.

They were rude and didn't care! I just needed to activate my prepaid service and was told they do not do that here because I bought the phone at Walmart. Unless your buying something. They have no interest in helping

Very friendly staff. Very busy location, sometimes there's a long wait. I suggest going online to Verizon and schedule an appointment, if you don't have a Verizon account you can schedule as a guest.

If I could use 2 words to define the employees of this store are RACISTS and XENOPHOBICS. I went to this store after I lost my phone during my vacation in Mexico, I was trying to put a physical SIM card in an old phone while I receive the substitute. I found a young lady with a horrible attitude as employee, She initially tried to put a SIM card in the phone but due it was old (iPhone 7) Verizon network apparently was not compatible (I can perfectly understand that) so my girlfriend who was next to me gave me her phone (iPhone 12) to active the physical SIM card, if the employee's attitude was bad at the beginning then got worse! basically she simulated she was trying and then told me "It does not work, if you wanna you can call customer service to see what they can do", it was evident she did not tried. Anyways, I accepted her "recommendation" so she conducted me to the phone and dial the number for me, customer service basically told me they did not understand why the store was denying to give me the physical SIM card and they suggested me to ask directly to the manager about a new physical SIM card so they could active it remotely. My surprise was, when I asked to the manager called "Keth" about that his answer was literally "if you want a physical one you can go to BestBuy and buy one for $15", I could not believe a manager answered like that, I replied "I don't understand why you are denying me the SIM card and also you suggest me to visit a BestBuy when I pay every month a $150 bill to Verizon, I am a Verizon Client not a Best Buy one", customer service told me "don't worry, I will put an order online and you will be able to pick it up in a couple hours". My surprise is when I received the e-mail with the instruction to pick up the SIM card on the lockers inside the store, the locker's screen asked for my phone number, when I put it on I supposed to receive a text message code to proceed, obviously I could not receive the text message because I did not have the SIM card, that was exactly the reason why I was requesting one to use my number. Anyways so thinking the madness was close to end, I pressed the Botton in the screen that says "If you don't have your phone with you press this Botton and a team member will be shortly with you to assist you" (HA! SURE), I pressed the Botton, the manager initially ignored me and went with other clients, finally I went directly to him and asked for assistance, his answer was "we will not assist you, I will not open it you must receive the code if you want to pick it up (obviously I could not), also he added "my employee felt insecure assisting you, so we will not assist you if you want a SIM card go to BestBuy" (again!) I could not believe a "manager" could act and say something like that to a client, I answered him "that is totally fake, if you employee felt insecure assisting me why she conduct me to the phone, dial the number for me inside the store?" it does not make senses for me to receive this treatment from a company as a cliente, and I added "is this because I am latino, because I noticed the rest of the clients are not receiving this treatment, I don't understand why you denied to assist me from the beginning until now to open the locker, I have my ID card you can perfectly verify its my order" after that the "manager" called Keth (with a terrible management of the situation) started to scream "you don't know what you said, get out of my store" I was in shock, I answered very calm "ok, I will leave the store but I will call the police because this is just not right". So I did, I called the police they came and I made the report, I also reported with Verizon, this store at Plainfield, IN is being managed for a person who is not qualified, unable to offer a qualified customer service and unable to listen and de-escalate any situation. In resume, if you are latino don't go to this store, If

I called the number to ask if they had a verizon hot spot. Phone call went to a central location. Not the number to the store in Plainfield IN. The lady on the call was very rude and argumentative. Refused to give the number to the store to me. I just wanted to call them and ask if they had a hot spot that I could go out and pick up. Needed it by this Wednesday evening. The lady on the phone refused to give me there direct number and kept talking over me. I finally asked her to quit being so difficult to talk to. She kept interrupting me and talking over me. Very poor customer service. I've never had someone so rude on the phone. I finally said I was getting off the phone and I didn't appreciate her talking over me. She then sent me the same 20 text messages in a row and called me back to argue some more. I couldn't believe it. I don't know what has happened to Verizon but this lady (Aver) was flat rude.

This place is a disgrace and a joke! The closing time is listed as 7 p.m. we arrived at the store shortly after six pm, there were four customers in the parking lot greeted by a locked door. when the store rep opened the door to let a customer out, all those waiting were informed that the store was closed. One customer mentioned the website stated a 7:00 pm closing time. One of the two employees, supposedly a "manager" ( term used loosely, told the customers he had a submitted the change to the site today. convenient! Future plans, move ALL of our lines from Verizon. The customer service at this location has been and continues to be extremely subpar.

Rude, rude rude. My husband and I stopped in on a Saturday to consider moving to Verizon. They were very busy and there was a wait list. So, we got on the list. We were told anywhere from an hour to an hour and 40 minutes. An hour later a gentleman who came in after us was waited on. I approached the manager, and told her we had been waiting longer than him. She argued that he came in before us. So now another hour later this manager whose name is Allison. Is now available to help the waiting customer's come up to us and says we are next it will be just a few minutes. Two women come in the store and she greets them and discusses their situation. Then she sends them to a table to wait for assistance. She then walks around the store with her note pad. Interrupts several conversations. Goes to the restroom, another 40 minutes goes by and she then decides that she can't stall any longer and approaches us with no eye contact what so ever. Asked several questions and gave us a ridiculous quote. Which I had expected, also telling us 3 times during the quote that Verizon is the most expensive phone service. After a very brief conversation. We leave, and she goes over to the table to wait on the 2 women that came in when we were told it would be just a few minutes. This young lady was extremely rude and unprofessional. Her name was Allison and she also refused to give me a business card.

Was told there would be a 20 minute wait and that there was one customer before me. Proceeded to wait an hour and watch 3 customers who came in after me be serviced before me
