I have to get a specific manufacturer for my medicine and sometimes it has to be ordered because the other people that make it I don't absorb it correctly and was just told by the pharmacist that corporate said they can no longer special order any medicines because they take it at a loss on their profit so profit is more important than a life-saving medicine do not get anything here this is literally what the pharmacist just told me a memo was released

Meijer Pharmacy is unbelievably incompetent. Several months ago, I had an expensive prescription, but with a savings card, the cost can be brought to $0. They refused to believe me, would not input it correctly, and delayed my prescription for weeks while insisting I was wrong. Finally, they ran it how I said, and lo and behold, the cost was $0. They offered no apology.
Now, they have severely messed up again, with another medication. They refused to fill it as the doctor prescribed, claiming that my insurance won't cover it. I talked to my insurance company and they said they will, in fact, cover it as the doctor prescribed, but that Meijer has put the info in differently than what the doctor prescribed. The man I spoke to on the phone argued and gave false information about rhe medication, and refused to input the prescription correctly. Long story short, my medication was not refilled when it needed to be, which can cause serious repercussions. They keep making huge mistakes and then refusing to listen or fix what they have done. This is especially egregious since they are interfering with people's health.
Edit to add... I called back, with a representative from my insurance company, and it turns out it was "Meijer Corporate" that wouldn't fill the prescription, so not the story they had previously told me.

This pharmacy is far most the best one. All of the workers are so kind and friendly. My daughter is usually the one to pick up my meds and she feels the same as I do. They also don't have new workers every time we/my daughter goes there.

Staff very rude if your medication doesn't line up with what the pharmacist believes. Pharmacist and staff try to act like your doctor and play games with prescriptions. Oh and they left me on hold for 32 minutes till it was closing time then hung up on me.

I used to like this pharmacy because I could get mperks and there wasn't a line like at the Avon store. But for the past 3 months, they have lost prescriptions or put them back on the shelf without contacting me that they're ready. This isn't like forgetting the butter here, it's people's life saving medications.

This pharmacy has messed up our simple monthly refills twice now, leaving us without needed medication for 4 days each time. Very unorganized staff and got a different answer each time I called. The only reason we stayed so long is Marcus - he is amazing and has great customer service.

Marcus at the pharmacy is wonderful. Very kind and always helpful. Everyone there is always happy to help and quick and efficient! Understanding most places are understaffed, they still radiate positivity and help you with a great attitude!
