This place needs a class action lawsuit against it
Went to pick up an engine that I paid for in advance told me it was a complete engine waited 2 days go to pick up. Show up and it just a bare long block. Mind you i paid more than what nissan sells long blocks for cause they insured me it was a 100% complete engine with turbo and accessories.
Place is a joke and of course because it's corporate nothing will ever happen with them. But please stop giving this place money

Bad Experience with LKQ Indiana
My recent experiences with LKQ Indiana have left me thoroughly disappointed and frustrated. As a loyal customer who has purchased numerous engines and transmissions from this company, I expected reliable products and decent customer service. However, what I received was far from satisfactory.
Over the past several months, I've encountered the same issue multiple times - faulty transmissions and engines. In fact, out of the last several purchases, 4 transmissions and 3 engines turned out to be defective. This recurring problem is not only unacceptable but also indicates a serious lack of quality control on the part of LKQ Indiana.
To make matters worse, their supposed solution - a parts and labor warranty - has proven to be more of a hassle than a help. Not only does it take an eternity for them to process warranty claims, but their parts staff's dismissive attitude towards customers' concerns is appalling. It's disheartening to see them laugh off our frustrations as if they don't matter.
What's truly baffling is that despite their abysmal track record and low review score of 2.6, they continue to operate with such indifference towards customer satisfaction. If it weren't for the labor warranty they offer (which, by the way, they conveniently fail to mention upfront, they out-source the warranty), my husband wouldn't even consider using their services.
In conclusion, my experiences with LKQ Indiana have been nothing short of a nightmare. Their lack of accountability, poor product quality, and apathetic customer service makes them a company I cannot, in good conscience, recommend to anyone. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for your automotive needs.
I would offer a 0.0 star rating if I could.
I would add that the BBB has them at 1.17/5 as a rating yet the are accredited with an A+, I wonder who they had to pay to get such a rating?

Plan on being on HOLD FOR EVER and or being hung up on. I have had the unfortunate honor of having to deal with these people a lot being in that i install a lot of motors, and other mechanical equipment, what irritates me even more than the unfriendly customer service in the pricing and availability of their products, one day i call and get a price on a motor and the very next day i speak to someone else and its hundreds cheaper or more expensive? And were talking about the same quote number, little interesting.

We have been long time customers of LKQ as a small business here in Indy. We have been very disappointed in 2022 with the amount of heavy line jobs (engines and transmissions) that we have had to do more than once because the first part we got from LKQ was bad. They always pay labor claims but the time of having to do the job more than once when we are already short on help is killer. We understand that cars aren't built like they used to be, but LKQ is not afraid to charge the absolute highest price they can for a part that they have no clue is good or bad. We used to only call LKQ for engines and transmissions but we have been forced to call elsewhere on several occasions this year.

I tried ordering a new radio for my vehicle. The rep that I spoke to asked me a few questions about what I needed and said it would be in on Friday. They called me to confirm they had it and I came to pick it up.We were made to wait a little while while the only front desk worker helped another customer. Not a huge deal.When we unpacked the radio, it was the wrong model. The one they had had push to talk, a DVD player, and a 6 disc cd changer- all things my vehicle doesn’t have. When I ordered the radio the rep asked me two questions- does it have a 6 disc changer? (I said no) and does it have satellite? (I said yes). They got both those wrong with some other random added features I was never even asked about. The worker said I could take it with me to see if it would work and in the meantime offered to order the correct radio. I said no way, as we live 40 minutes away. Total waste of time and no other solution was offered.
