Ok I’ll preface this with a disclaimer: I am a male who has been cutting his own hair for 20 years so my salon experience is very limited.First the pros - this establishment is very clean, the stylists seem to know what they are doing, and had a good rapport with their clients in the chairs.Now the cons - I called them three times during their normal hours and no one answered. This is possibly due to being with clients, which I get - so I figured I’d pop in and ask questions between clients regarding getting my little girl (8) a hair cut. We popped in on a Saturday when each stylist had a client in the chair but no one waiting in the lobby. We sat in the waiting area for 20 minutes and during this time not a single employee acknowledged our existence in any way. No eye contact, no greeting, no “be with you shortly”, nothing. I do not expect them to drop what they are doing but a general acknowledgement would have been appreciated. During our 20 minute silence I saw one stylist finish with a client, clean up her station, grab her bag, and leave without so much as a glance. Another employee said to a client “ok now we wait, I’ll be back in 30 minutes” and went to the back without acknowledging us. Again, she may have been very busy, which is fine, but I just felt like being completely ignored by all 3 employees was rude. I may not understand salon etiquette and perhaps I was rude as a “walk-in” but I have to say - I doubt I’ll be back.

Laurie is absolutely sensational!! She does such a fantastic job with my crazy frizzy hair. I got a smoothing treatment and cut with highlights. Very nice place!!

Avery Bella is the best hair salon I have ever been too. I've been going there for years. April is one of the best and became more like family to me. I have been going to April since 2011. They are very friendly and treat you like family. I would highly recommend Avery Bella to everyone. They are absolutely amazing. April at Avery Bella is such a doll, and just a truly genuine person. She listens to what you want, and gives great advise too (not just hair talk). When I started going to her, I had a bob that I was wanting to grow out. She explained the process (cause you can't just even everything out or you'll look like the head of a mushroom) and I appreciated the education.
