Good experience. My step daugher and I both went Although the lady at the front desk was borderline rude. Along with the lady that did the pre exam.If I don't want extras don't try and force it on me.

This place is a joke and by far the worst America's best in the state. I will drive out of the way to the other side of town instead of dealing with this location.

I chose America's Best mainly because of their two pair for a decent price deal that is promoted in all of their various ads. I'm not saying that the deal doesn't exist, but what I am saying is that anyone looking for the same deal needs to specifically ask for it. Considering how much they promote the two pair deal, including in all of the infographics about the different lens types, I didn't bother to do that. It wasn't until I went to pick up my glasses that I was told the (much higher) price I paid was for only one pair. No one bothered to mention that the entire time I was in their store, which I'm guessing is something corporate has set as policy, but a lie by omission is still a lie. The manager first tried to tell me that it was because I had gotten progressive lenses, and then he tried to change his story to it being that the two pair deal was excluded by my insurance. I haven't yet encountered any problems with the pair I did get from them, but that doesn't excuse letting me believe that I was paying for two pair -- especially when that's the hook in all their advertising.

Took 4 tries and almost 2 months to get the prescription right. Manager was fairly abrupt and not pleasant to work with. Paint on frame of glasses is already chipped, after only 2 months of wear.

Was sold cheap easily broken frames that did not last more than 3 months then want me to pay over 100 dollars to replace the frame. Shameful to sell subpar frames and capitalize on customers when they break. A sarcastic "That's fine. " reply when I mention I won't be returning.

Absolutely not Americas best. Came THREE weeks ago. Did my daughters eye exam, picked out frames. Wait time was ridiculous. Systems were down, fine. Took measurements for the frames, gave all the info for insurance, left. Called a couple weeks after to ask if her frames would be done soon, never sent out and they misplaced her frames. Called to make another appointment. Came in and been waiting ever since. So damn slow. Take your time and business elsewhere.

As I am paying for my glasses Stevie did a one handed hand stand , sang lady Gaga in a hot pink tutu while chewing bubble gum! Love this place staff is super friendly and it's very clean! 10 out of 10 would recommend!

Stevie’s the absolute best! I went to this location unable to see because an eagle clawed my eyes out. Stevie found me a new pair of eyeballs AND glasses to go with them. She then made a fire out of contact lenses and a toothbrush and swaddled me so I would stay warm. When I felt comfortable enough to leave the location, I told Stevie that I was nervous about going home by myself. She cloned herself and held my hand all the way home so that darn eagle wouldn’t get me.

Unfortunately my technician, Jessica, is no longer at this store, or company. I would give her new employer a try!(If it wasn't Eyeglass World, owned by America's Best.)Very, very bad experience here at America's Best. The only plus was Jessica finally taking over my situation from 2 other employees, which turned into numerous visits. She tried really hard, given what she could work with, to right the problem.Glasses were ordered January 2022. Immediately had an issue with not being able to get the warranty, upon what was to be initial pickup, due to the front desk gal entering the transaction wrong, Feb. 2022. Saying it could not be changed, she said she would have the manager call in 2 days. Five days later, hearing nothing, I called her myself. Ended up with a warranty, as far as I know, as the manager said she would place it on my file. Just the beginning. Many returns later, before even getting these eyeglasses out of store, they were sent back to lab many, many times due to wrong eye placements, wrong prescriptions, etc - on their part. I spent so many wasted hours, and initially dollars, in this Plainfield store. I even returned to my OPTHAMOLOGIST, higher schooling than their dr, to check the prescription again, that I had just gotten October 2021, 3 months prior - at their request. January to JULY, they say they have lost these new glasses that I have never taken out of store. Needless to say, 6 months later, my insurance was notified, and this order was canceled. I generously let it go on too long.I'd heard good things about America's Best, but it turned out to be America's Worst.Never again. I could see without those glasses I needed to look for another company.----------------------EDIT: I got a response from the company (12/2, 12/29, finally 12/31) passing the ball from Corp back to a District Manager, assuring me this person would contact me. As of 1/27/23 this has not happened. Just reconfirms what THIS customer is working with.(Received 12/31/22)"Thank you for reaching out. Staff was very friendly and fun! They even went the extra mile and helped me entertain and keep an eye on my daughter so that i could focus on what i needed to do for my appointment!

I brought my 5 yr old daughter with me. I saw Faith for the pre test. She was amazing and did everything she could to make use comfortable. When my daughter was acting up she let her open the door to have more space and even offered her manager to watch her. My daughter calmed down once she could watch some videos on her phone. Faith was so kind and helpful and just an upbeat personality. I suggest this location :)
