I think we're past the point of just blaming this post office's grunt employees. It's obviously an upper management problem, 2 years or more of the same complaints and outside of them all covering each others donkey's with lies nothing has been done. They need to change the name of this facility to 'Can't get right & don't care to'.

I bought my first book of stamps today! The young lady helping us was quick and efficient, but recommended some cool new stamps for the upcoming year! I can’t wait to see the new DnD stamps coming out soon!

Grandson very disappointed as he waited the entire day for his Grave Digger 4x4 hotwheel and at the last moment just before the supposed delivery time 8pm usps decides to lie and say they attempted delivery but were unable to do so. It did not require a signature and would've fit in the mailbox!

Waited all day kept looking out the window pretty excited because according to tracking I was going to get my package sometime before 8pm today. I went into my amazon account just now 7:40pm to check on it and about 10 minutes ago usps updated the tracking with a false report. They stated they attempted to deliver however could not and would try again another time. They never even showed up we have cameras to prove it, so how can they say this?

I've seen a lot of bad business in my day but as far as the deliver drivers at this place they are now number one in complete incompetency disrespect laziness and bold face liars. Marking delivers as attempted or not able when we basically have the red carpet laid out for them. We've filed complaint after complaint so at this point it seems to be everyone from mail carriers to management who lack. There does seem to be some improvement when the weather is nice or there is no more than 1 small package needing delivered. WORTHLESS bunch and looking at these reviews they seemingly could care less.

Spotty delivery.Poor communication.Poor management.This is how you end up getting taken over by automation or a corporation.This has become the worst post office. I wonder what the turn over rate is at this location?I'm just going to file a complaint.

North Vernon Post Office delivers mail that makes It easier for the carriers to do their route so they won't add packages on certain days so the route will go Faster when you're a prime customer this isn't right you're paying for 2 day delivery not when they feel like delivering it.

Edit: 4th time I've had to pick up an "undeliverable" package, there are no dogs, my box can fit small packages, my drive way is accessible, the weather was great, and I've been home and up every single time. They just mark the package as undeliverable and don't ever have it in the vehicle. This post office is the most unprofessional horribly run usps location I've ever had to experience. I get packages delivered so I don't have to leave my house super early after working overnight and getting no sleep because of it. I would've gotten a post box if i wanted to go out and get my packages every time.
Marked my package as undeliverable and it needed to be picked up at the post office. I try to retrieve it.....it's not there either ,it was scanned by an employee. The woman who helped did what she could to help but could use a bit more customer service. Waiting for solution .

We recently moved from Indianapolis to North Vernon. I got an email saying I was going to receive my in-laws mail. I called the Indy location and she was wonderful to speak with. Super kind and helpful. She made a case and sent it over to the North Vernon office. Brian called me saying he received the notice and was going to look in to it. Then called me again to give me an update and informed he talked directly to my mail carrier, and informed me of other steps to get this resolved.Those offices were so great to talk to. I felt like they not only heard me, they made sure to check up with me and keep in contact. What amazing customer service. I wish every company had customer service like this!Thank you!
