I just arrived in town and had no place to sleep. When I got there at THIRD phase, no one was there. So I slept in my car that night and was suddenly woken up by this person knocking on my window and telling me that I can't sleep there.

Ruth Thalman was a jewel.... the "unsung" hero of Third Phase! Ms. Betty Violette (on the other hand) seemed to have fallen from her earlier years in ministry down into a dark pit..... spiritually. The rumors of her lesbianism swirled & haunted Betty until her death. Her remaining years.... she had gotten mean-spirited & (seemingly) unconcerned about that fact. Hopefully the new staff members now in charge at Third Phase have gotten things on-track & are moving forward in a correct manner that are worthy of a Christian ministry!

This is a horrible place, they charge the residents 25 dollars a week which is wrong. The owner is incredibly rude and has no compassion for anyone

I was wanting to donate but the guy who just answered the phone scared me off as women who doesn’t need help. I can’t imagine what it would feel like if I did need help.

I only gave one star due to never being there before. All I have is a question, would they accept my pregnant girlfriend and I? She is 12 weeks and 3 days tomorrow.

It has a nice thrift shop, it's a lovely atmosphere to volunteer at. It was fun to organize the clothes.I even found some nice clothes there to buy, at $3 a shirt. Even for nice men's business buttoned-up shirts.

Great people. They took me in when I was on the street. Only negative would been a situation that happened around Christmas (years ago)but I learned not to be friend everyone you work or live with. I was asked to leave. With that said Third phase has still helped me in many other ways even after that bridge had been crossed. They let me use the pantry and suggested other options to look into. Major learning experience. Now I work for General Motors and have better social skills. Glad third phase was apart of my experience and helped me grow into the woman I am today. :)

This place has the love of Jesus all over it...u feel it in the walls!! The staff here treated me so amazing, they made me feel welcome and I praise God for a place like this. Thanks so much for ur loving embrace during such hard times I would recommend this place to anyone in need..absolutely

Such a blessing to me they saved my life in 2006 until 2008 by letting me stay they after a horrible home invasion they prayed for and with me in which time I came to know my Lord and savior I have never forgotten what aunt Ruthie and Betty did for me and I know there wearing there crowns!!!God bless Peggy who is following in there steps and is such a blessing it's a 24 hour day to do the work she does running the food pantry and countless acts of kindness that she does for not only me but the community God always knows where to place his people.Iam forever grateful and blessed

This place is a great asset to the community. The staff is amazing, so kind & caring. They have a wonderful food pantry & thrift store The thrift store is amazing and their prices are lower than all others stores in the area. They have oodles of stuff and the prices can't be beat! They help people in need and they are the absolute best!
