Went in for a key replacement at 10 in the morning. I then reached out around 3 to check in in as it was taking a long time. They then informed me that they weren't able to update the electronics for the key, so I has to pay for a whole new key while being informed 5 hours later when I called in.If you value your time/money- wouldn't recommend

On 12/27/21 I paid Hare Chevrolet 6964.21 for new transmission and new tires. Before we left the dealership, we realized the remote start didn't work. The mechanic came out with a gadget and reset the remote start. We went to lunch and when we came out the restaurant we realized that the remote start didn't work again. We took the car right back to Hare Chevrolet. The next day on 12/28/21 Hare Chevrolet called and said the car would be ready that evening. Around 4pm Hare Chevrolet called and said my car had been totalled. The mechanic was test driving the car and someone t-boned my car. I have made a couple attempts to recieve my payment back. The GM says the service was complete and sent me a copy of my receipt. I have explained to the GM of Hare Chevrolet that I don't know if the service was complete because I had to return the car back to Hare. The GM feels that the person who totalled my car is responsible. I have explained to the GM the insurance company paid out what the car was worth, not for past or ongoing repairs. I had the car for 1 hr and 30 minutes before returning the car back. The car was in Hare Chevrolets possession when it was totalled. The car service was not complete, therefore I should be reimbursed.

I bought a certified 2017 Chevy suburban. I had two different shocks on the rear. Refused to replace until I involved gm and their general manager. Next my electronics went crazy. They blamed radio, while all instrument clusters were freaking out. Replaced radio. It happened again they said had to update radio. Never acknowledged its electronic. It's happening again. To top it off with 67500 miles on it my transmission crapped out on me 320 miles from home. Limited power train warranty ran out September 23rd. They gave me partial policy number on extended warranty I purchased. Also never honored the 12000 mile warranty just billed my extended warranty for electrical issues. Nor did the add the extended warranty to start after 12,000 mile one year warranty. I'm here without a car. 300 miles from home and can not get a rental car until a ticket is generated for repairs. No loaner from Dutch Miller Chevy either. Although I'm happy to say it's a day later now and my husband drove 8 hours to get us and drive us home. Still no ticket to get a rental unless it's my own expense. Waiting on a diagnosis and a estimate to be sent to Fidelity auto warranty. Pitiful $40 a day rental reimbursement on a platinum warranty I was sold. They also damaged my bumper in the service dept. last time it was there. Guy 4'11" drove my car out of the garage. Nice looking corner of a tool box dent covered with touch up paint. Accused me of it being a professional repair I had to turn into insurance. Horrible sales dept smiling when they twist the knife in your back. Smile at you in service and laugh at you when you leave! Mobil one is supposed to get 7500 miles to an oil change. Set at 2500. Don't buy their premium upholstery and paint protection. It's worthless and I'm sure it's a spray bottle of something as you can see the drips. My carpet has no water resistance and as far as paint protection it's just not viable. Rust in the inside of my rear passenger door step. Paint warranty ran out in 22. Go to Bloomington Indiana and check out their GMC dealership. This dealership was sold about 5 years ago and no longer has the families reputation behind it. $50,000 certified vehicle not even worth my $660 payments. Hare Chevrolet no longer holds pride in its name.

called a week ago on Tuesday to inquire about trading in my current vehicle for something that actually runs and wouldn't leave me stranded time and time again. I was greeted by a nice young man who seemed interested at the time to help me. we spoke for a few I told him my interests and all the details about my vehicle. we left the conversation with the understanding that I was suppose to txt him some pictures of my vehicle for an appraisal. TWO HOURS after I sent the pictures I still had no response. I called and he rushed me off the phone and said that he never received them. (btw thanks for calling or responding to make sure I sent them) he also said that he would forward my info to a specialist so they could better assist me in the car buying process... which I thought we were already in the process of since he never mentioned prior that it wasn't his line of work. here it has been 7 days and still no specialist has called. I'm not going there end of story. if this is how it is to buy a vehicle from them I can onlyimagine the future nightmares I would encounter.

I never paid $94 for tire rotation and oil change for this much till I switch to hare Chevrolet, but I won't go back back again that is good way for me. Too expensive and 2 hours waiting time for oil change service is crazy. Bye hate Chevrolet !

I first had contact with Hare when trying to get my car serviced. That department sucked and was trying to charge me way too much.Today, I went to the dealership looking to lease a vehicle. I have leased or bought vehicles, literally all over the country from Chicago, to Los Angeles. I can say this for a fact. This is the absolute Worst dealership I have ever been in. They are arrogant and they try to just rip you off. I would say this. If you are looking to buy a car or truck DO NOT go to this dealership. Unless of course you like getting ripped off and having money to burn.

Went to look at a truck a few weeks ago. Was quoted 2k less than sticker (46k) from a salesperson named Darrell. 2 days ago, I spoke with Melissa online who then quoted 38,500 for my trade in and said 48,500 for the truck. They wanted 10k difference. My wife and I went there again in person and spoke with Darrell again. He seemed reluctant as I told him I would give my trade in and 6k more OTD. Darrell was very short, curt and borderline rude during our quick interaction. He came back and said now they want to give 37k (not 38.5k) for my trade and now wants 48,500 (not 46k) and said we were 11.5k apart. Darrell seemed upset and said we were too far apart and wouldn't even listen to anything. We just left. But for non-math people 46k (truck) -38.5k (trade-in) +6k in cash is only 1,500.00 apart. It's ridiculous the games they play however after seeing the reviews, I'm not shocked now. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place

Jeremy in service was great. Walked in with a unique issue, car is fully functional within 48 hours at a fair cost. He was fully transparent through the process offering as-necessary updates.

This was the best car buying experiences I have ever had. Back story, my car was totalled in July 21since that time I have been to 4 dealerships and one in Columbus. NONE of the sales people ever followed up so I vowed to not set foot in another dealership because I was frustrated. Then I found Hare and Corbin Richards. I had gone ahead and submitted an app online on a Friday, on Monday Corbin not only let me know that the car I was inquiring had sold but told me he would keep his eye open for anything similar. A week later I was on the website saw a vehicle I was interested in let him know and by Wednesday the following week I was driving home in a new car. We had taken care of everything online and via email so I spent about 45min including signing the necessary documents at Hare and off I went. If you need a vehicle I definitely recommend you go see Corbin Richards.

We have now purchased or leased 7 vehicles from Hare Chevrolet. Despite the business being sold a few years ago, I still get the hometown feeling from Darrell Lee & Melissa Barnhart. They always treat us VERY fairly.I just had an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. I waited for the service. I was texted by Jacob, my service advisor during the process and my truck was done in less than an hour. Great place!
