I am visiting my mother from out of state to help her recover from a rheumatoid arthritis attack. She currently cannot drive and uses a rollator and walker to assist her in walking. I took her to this Dollar General to pick up a few items because she is on a limited budget and purchase some items there cheaper than other stores. The heat index at the time was 103 degrees with an actual temperature of 88. The curb cuts are located on the sides of the building rather than in front of the entrance, and the handicapped spaces are not located near the entrance or the curb cuts. It took five minutes for my mom to walk from the disabled space, down to the curb cut, up an incline, and through the door in ungodly heat. Because it was so hot, I drove to the entrance while she was checking out; an employee had to assist her down the curb and into the car. I, unfortunately, did not get the name of the gracious employee who deserves recognition, but she mentioned the problem was widely known and employees are expected to help people who use assistive devices. I don't know if people with disabilities can call the store to let them know they need assistance, but they shouldn't have to. Rather than boycott the store, whose employees depend on their jobs, please consider reporting the issue to Dollar General: Otherwise, our experience was pretty typical of a Dollar General store: yes, it's difficult to maneuver on stocking days, it's packed to the gills, and it seems to always be disorganized...that's part of DG culture. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Not too impressed with this location. The isles were overcrowded with merchandise everywhere you could barely walk thru the place. Not a vast selection of toys. Most were cheap and looked like they had missing parts. Not really any name brand cosmetic products. All generics. Food selection is mostly junk and candy. Cashier was friendly thou.

Store is cluttered with merchandise everywhere. No spectacular deals on anything. Prices are average like Walmart. Customer service is average nothing special.

Bill, shared hello to the previous customer ,I greeted Bill with hello. Bill never responded .I checked out and responded thanks for your hospitality and he an after thought uttered "oh have a nice day. He was who he is .Really he deserves AZE ZERO.

Do they just not want to sell anything? Boxes piled high in front of everything I came here for. Then, when the associate sees me, she comes over to the boxes. I thought she was gonna move them, instead she starts getting stuff out of them and working in front of me.
