Picked up some lumber on the way home. Friendly welcome by front desk as well as back. No problems, not to mention they exactly what I wanted at a cheaper price than the local Lowe's.

Do NOT use them for kitchen cabinets. My cabinets arrived and some were the wrong cabinets, some broken, wrong trim work and broken drawers. It's is now going on 5 months and I still do not have the items that are required to finish my kitchen. I have paid so much money out for people to come only to find out I don't have everything. So I will have to pay people to come back and replace broken cabinets that were installed just so I could have a kitchen. Carter has done NOTHING for me. Just told me that where the cabinets are from has problems and that's why I don't have my cabinets. Poor follow up. Do NOT use them. I would have been better off in the long run to go custom because I'm going to end up spending just as much.

The people who work out back were extremely nice to work with and helpful. Getting a quote was drawn out since they don't have any listed prices online and I had to talk to someone in the office to get a quote. They are also not open on weekends, which doesn't work for a weekend project. The prices weren't as good as I had expected either, and I ended up going elsewhere for my materials due to the prices quoted.

Extremely nice people. Great service. Great lumber. Great prices. Built a deck. Price was under what Menards and Lowes were and they delivered it for free. Dropped the lumber where I wanted it.Had a problem with a board and they sent a guy out with a replacement right away. Highly recommend
