“I grew up in this club and I love the building and it’s members like family. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. It’s one big family here. Come be apart of it.”

“A great non-profit that helps others in need. Their focus is neighborhood revitalization, which is achieved through buying run down homes and completely remodeling them. Revived homes are made available to those in need for a below market value. It's a really great non-profit.”

“We’ve heard great things about this organization and we’re hoping they are all true. We are really needing food help right now. I’m scared for our family. Will come back and review after we visit them.”

“The Boonville store is the best location in the Evansville area for clothes. The selection is always great and everything hasn’t been picked over. The next 2 good thrift stores is the Princeton location and the Posey County Thrift in Mt Vernon.”

“A very nice YMCA. Always seems clean. For the most part the employees seem like they have been trained to not speak to anyone. Have been there multiple times to watch my grandsons events, and I don't believe any employee has even looked or spoken to me. The instructors for my grandsons seem to be friendly, but anyone else seems to be very unfriendly. When you walk by the front desk there may be 3-4 people there and they don't even look at you or acknowledge you.I understand when the place is packed, as it is at times, but my last visit the place was pretty empty, and not one of them even looked up!!”

“The Battleground 22 foundation and the founder, Greg Peete, has not only helped me achieve a service dog through the foundation, but he also handled my case delicately. I’m a survivor of MST and Greg was not only respectful in handling my case, but he also gave me the time I needed to get to know him first and gain my trust. I struggle with severe depression and suicidal ideations, Greg understood exactly why a service dog would benefit me, and also assured me I would be protected by this dog because I’ve been a victim of stalking and harassment from my ex, to the degree I don’t feel safe anymore. Greg goes above and beyond for his veterans, he checks in daily and make sure everyone is good and has a safe place. He has helped me achieve my fear of leaving my house and meeting other veterans with the help of his service dog, Rip, making sure I was okay the whole time. The foundation and trainers take their time to make sure you are paired with the right dog for your specific needs. I’m looking forward to the progress my service dog will help me achieve, Battleground 22 gave me a sense of purpose in life again and the will to stay on the road of healing. It is also nice to have that reinforcement that you have that family of veterans that you can reach out to at any time and will be there for each other no matter what. Thank you Battleground 22 foundation again. ❤️‍ Adding a picture of my service dog, Lilith.”
