Knapp auto was great! Working here in Evansville from out of town and my vehicle starter was going out. Ford dealerships - four dealerships could not repair my truck for two weeks because they were booked up in the service department. Knapp replaced my starter. IMy vehicle was fixed the next day. Knap has great service and attention to detail and it’s awesome because I don’t have to rent a car for the next 14 days if it had been at a Ford dealership. Got me out of a bind while working out of town. Knapp did a great job thanks Knapp!!!

They worked with me on scheduling next day service after a check engine light for my power train. They also were very upfront, honest, helpful, and fair on price, something no other auto shop was offering me as I tried to solve my problems while in town for business. Every other auto shop in the city couldn't schedule me or couldn't offer affordable prices for an easy fix (vvt solenoid). Knapp did, and did the repair fast, and with kindness and professionalism. So if you need car repairs done in Evansville or the surrounding area, please give them a call. If you get even half the service I did, you'll still be in great hands!

I needed to have a pricey car repair done. I called them and they told me 1,400 to do the job. I made an appointment to have the service done the next week. A day before I was supposed to take it in, they called me and said that they had a "change with their labor fees" and that's a new price was going to be 2,100.This is super shady for two reasons. First, even if this is true, they should have honored their original price quote. Second, they may have just changed their mind and decided they didn't want to do it. But instead of telling me the truth, they decided to raise the price by 50 percent to scare me away.Either way, this just shows how dishonest these people are and as far as I'm concerned this is simply bullet dodged.EditI already took my car to a shop recommended by Quality Automotive that charged me 1,400 for the job. I also saved the new estimate that was sent to me on company letterhead. It breaks down like this.Estimate 51174Labor....... 1,854.00Parts........ 181.89Shop Supplies..35.00Sales Tax..15.18Total Estimate...2,086.07So it's 48 percent higher than the original estimate.

l am always MORE than happy with the customer service as well as the mechanics who work there and their customer service and abilities to service my vehicle with prompt and trustworthy service! I have taken my vehicle in more than once with major issues and have always been very satisfied with my services. The prices are more than far for a small, locally owned and operated business! Had car towed here to get a starter replaced. Made it out all of 100ft before check engine light came on with a whole new issue. They wanted to charge me another $300+ to fix something that wasn't broken when it came in. Mechanic was nice but would not recommend this place.Services: General repairs & maintenance

The Knapp family Diagnosed our 2008 Solstice GXP and discovered a GM RECALL on the faulty part unit at no charge to us. We applaud them for their honesty and highly recommend A+ Knapp to anyone with any Auto issues..

I’m always nervous taking my car to a shop. I know so little about cars that I’m afraid I’ll get taken advantage of. But… I’m so thankful for Knapps! I thought I had a steering fluid leak. I was ready to pay $500 for the repair. But they took a look and said I didn’t. And no repair was necessary.
