Love the place. Very nice and quiet thru weekdays although it's been a while since I've been there, but I still love the place.

Ample picnicking space. Long, paved trails. Lots of bathrooms. Tree cover is great. Playgrounds are in great condition.
Restrooms: Primarily flush-toilets with a few port-a-potties. Relatively clean (very clean for a park bathroom)

This is hands down my favorite park in the Indianapolis area! It's packed with activities for everyone. There are trails for walking, two playgrounds (one for older kids and another for younger ones), and clean bathrooms. The park features large shelters—about six, I believe—perfect for gatherings. The paved trails and creek make it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll or a fun creek stomp.
The park also offers a variety of programs, like maple syrup making from local trees and a bug fest, which add an educational twist to the outdoor fun. In the winter, the massive hill is perfect for sledding, and there are big open fields where you can toss a ball or play frisbee. With 188 acres of nature to explore, it's a wonderful escape into the outdoors, all while being conveniently close to a bathroom.

The parks department needs to replace the old wood picnic tables. The day great and there was a nice breeze.
