Lately been finding they have low stock and extended waits on certain prescriptions They all do their Best with that as some things are out of their hands. The Walgreens Staff are excellent in all that they do and the app. is filled with plenty of sales and coupons on a wide variety of items!

Tried to use a coupon for a prescription at the pharmacy for a medication that helps addicts stay sober and lead healthy lives. The coupon reduced the price from $166.00 to $25.00. The coupon also had the Walgreen’s logo on it. The clerk told me that it was THIS store’s policy to not honor coupons for controlled substances (the name of the drug was written on the coupon as well). So apparently the Walgreen’s off Memorial in New Castle, IN doesn’t care about people suffering from addiction and would rather exploit their pain for a 100% full price profit. That is a shameful policy you’ve got in place there New Castle Walgreen’s. I’m switching over to CVS in the next parking lot over. They accept coupons.

I would put 0 if I could. I went in last night to get cash off of my apple wallet card (a process I do every time I go to my brother’s basketball games) but to make sure they had cash back like mine in indy i asked. Not one but two of the “managers” told me “yes! we have cash back”. So I pay for some candy and wait for the prompt or for them to get the cash. It just approved immediately. They kindly gave me my money back after scanning the receipt. “You have to use a physical card” so my boyfriend tries to pay and it immediately went through again. We got a little annoyed and asked for a refund again. She then proceeded to argue with us over a digital receipt that was apparently sent to my bfs email?? He has no email with them nor did we give one and we couldn’t find one (still never got one) so we were upset and this lady just rejected giving us a refund and that we paid for the candy and she cannot refund us with no receipt (even tho she checked us out 5 seconds before). We just took the candy and left as her IQ was not high enough to understand that 1. it’s illegal not to offer a receipt on something just purchased and 2. Your system doesn’t just have random people’s emails to send their receipt to.

Rebecca (wore a name tag saying she has been working here since 2014) was the rudest person I’ve ever dealt with, I came in looking pretty rough, because I work at a very dirty factory for a living, she was doing something on the computer, waited a solid two minutes to acknowledge me, and said “give me a minute, I’m doing something,” with a major attitude, not “I’ll be right with you sir,” once I finally got her attention it was clear I was not wanted here, she tried to charge me for the wrong prescription after I told her I didn’t want one of them, clearly she wasn’t paying attention to what I was saying, I could’ve looked past all this until an elderly couple came in behind me, and kinda went around the line on accident, and with an attitude she said to them “get in line,” in a tone that was astounding, after that I asked if they were still having a stimulant shortage as I’m prescribed focalin, and she literally said “I don’t know,” I worked customer service for years, and this was negative one star customer service all the way around. This woman does not need to be around the public. Oh and as I was leaving she said “I apologize if you feel like I was being rude to you,” opposed to “I’m sorry for my attitude today,” at which point I told her it’s not me I’m worried about, it’s the elderly couple, she didn’t acknowledge her tone, her attitude, or her lack of initiative at all in this apology, instead she basically blamed me, and it was clear she was mocking me. Do yourself a favor, and shop elsewhere until they get rid of this woman.

Walmart used to be known for having great customer service. That is definitely no longer the case especially when it comes to the pharmacy. Rude inconsiderate and completely unhelpful. I am definitely looking to go to a different Pharmacy.

1st time in the New Castle location and I will tell you the pharmacist was AWESOME! Everyone is out of my insulin pen that I need. My Doctor finally found it at this Walgreens. Unfortunately they don't accept my insurance, (go figure) but I needed it so what could I do, right. $549.00! So I am standing there waiting to pay that out ragious pice. The pharmacist called me to the side questioned me about my insurance and when he found out I had Government Issued insurance for Veterans he said let me check something. So 2 mins later he came back and said, with the discounts he could find he wss able to get my prescription down to $160.15!!!! THAT MY FRIEND IS AND WAS WONDERFUL! HE definitely went above and beyond his customer service, he actually cared and helped. Je definitely get Huge Kudos for all he did.

Love this store for many reasons. There are so many things here that you would not expect. Amazed by all the holiday decor that they offer for every holiday. Great place to buy gifts too!

Don’t get any type of vaccines here. Making an appointment is a waste of time. Still waiting, no one around & already paid for, going on 35 minute wait

When i called they told me i didn't need an appointment for a rapid test, then when I got there they told me they weren't offering rapid tests and I would need an appointment so I had to miss an event.
