Was perfect pharmacy for past 10 years. Never a wait, always great service. But over the last couple months starting August 2024 my meds began saying out of stock constantly, filled a week or more past my fill date & I call in my refill when I'm down to a week's worth. But the absolute worst is they've suddenly been "temporarily closed" off & on for past couple of months. I go to pick up my meds & am met with a temporarily closed sign in window--with no indication of WHEN they will reopen! I am terminally ill & have several meds that are controlled substances so can't be transferred & my other meds just show "delayed, reviewing, or processing your order" for days. Have no idea how this is even legal? It's like they're holding my medication hostage with no way to remedy it. It's such a shame because this location was far superior to ANY pharmacy around, not just other Walgreens. They knew me by name, would have my meds ready asap because they knew my illness & multiple medical issues. I'm just devastated & have no idea what to do.

I use the drive thru at this location for convenience to pick up prescriptions. Usually it is a reasonably efficient method. Tonight I arrived behind an individual already being waited on. Cars pull up behind me and now I am locked in. After over 10 minutes he finally pulls away and I can pull up. I asked the person at the window (Katlyn) why I had to wait so long. She said they were working on his order. I asked if possibly he should have come inside for whatever they were working on and she replied "no".
Since she seemed totally unconcerned about the inconvenience, I gave her an opportunity and asked if I was clear that she was completely unapologetic that I had to wait so long. She again said she was working on his order.
I understand that in some cases people possibly can't come inside to drop off an order or consult. I don't believe that was the case in this instance.
I would prefer the drive thru be used for pickup and drop off only. Under any condition I think as a representative of the pharmacy, the employees should be considerate of good customer service. An apology would have helped. However,if Walgreens has so much business they don't need mine, I am good with that.

Employees are always friendly. I tried the order pick up and it was ready quickly and right at the door when I walked in. The products I need are always in stock. Great store.

A large part of me has a soft spot for Walgreens because many years ago they employed me as an intern and probably paid me more than I was worth at the time. That being said, I feel like I can be pretty objective about what's good and bad about this place. I don't think this is breaking news, but Walgreens is a place that charges you more than others because of the convenience it provides. That's just the way it goes. This particular Walgreens has a pharmacy that seems to always somehow have customers with difficult orders. I am rarely pleased with the speed of service at the pharmacy. I highly recommend going at off times if you want to avoid long waits. On the good side, there are a lot of friendly employees, including one who seems to be there during every single open hour. And there is also a good chance you will see my friend Todd there, because he is always there too. And here's my dirty secret: This place is so close to my house that I'll still go no matter what. They have me over a barrel.
