A few years back, I had brought my cat to Ridgeview as she was not doing well. Upon arrival they checked her over and took back for bloodwork. I was told they processed the blood work and the doctor was to call me within 24-48 hours. This never happened.
What happened was this… I called everyday for a week (after, I was told I would receive a call.) Every-time I called, I was told the doctor was busy and that they would get back to me. But, no one would update me with any information. She progressively got worse. And, They wouldn’t give me copies of the bloodwork. After, a week past the point they said they would call, they finally called to say “we were confused by the bloodwork, so we reached out for outside help. Thats why we hadn’t contacted you.”
She had to be put down a few days after receiving the phone call. I will say this, I don’t know if she would have lived or not, but, I do know that had they actually been upfront and communicated properly, she may not have had to suffer her last days and I would have known something. Even communicating “we are unsure, and are seeking outside expertise.” Would have been better than misleading someone and leaving them hanging in an actual emergency.
I WILL NEVER GO BACK. Their actions or lack of them, let my best friend suffer needlessly.

I have nothing but nice things to say about Dr. Vazquez. When I moved here I was very worried about finding a good vet, but her bedside manner is so refreshing and really eases my own anxieties. Instead of automatically saying what she wants to do, she asks me for my opinion. I haven’t even had a physician do that! I completely trust my dog and any other pet with her.
I also accompanied my roommate when she had to put her elderly cat to sleep. Dr. Vazquez was the one to do that, and she was more than accommodating. She made a tragic experience go as smoothly as it possibly could, and we couldn’t be more grateful for her and the great team here at Ridgeview.

Both Max and Winnie are patients here and I love Ridgeview! They always are so kind there to help and answer any questions and always go above and beyond for Max and Winnie like for the holiday weekend this month i had left a message about max on the third regarding these coughing episodes he was doing and the staff left me a message to call and get him in but also left me the number of every emergency vet hospital in area incase i needed it before they could see him they also have called to check on max after appointments just an amazing clinic wouldn’t want to take them anywhere else!

Being a animal clinic in southern Indiana I would have thought I could bring a Suffering dog to have her put down but No, There not accepting new patients. I was distraught to say the least.
