Latimer Animal Hospital, LLC
2831 Charlestown Rd, New AlbanyThe staff and Dr. Latimer took great care of my cat during her last month of life. I had previously taken my cat to a special clinic further from our house, but when my cat suddenly wasn't feeling well one day, Latimer Animal Hospital was the only place open and willing to get us in.
They are kind and respectful, and they keep their facility very clean!
I really appreciate their kind words and special gift on my cat's last day on earth...it was heartfelt.❤️

Raven's K9 to 5 Pet Services
E 8th St, New AlbanySo thankful for Raven! She was able to help me on short notice and was super sweet and helpful! She was very patient with my shy and grumpy rabbit, and dropped by my hotel twice a day to make sure she had everything she needed. I was extremely anxious about leaving my rabbit alone, but Raven sent me pictures of her when she could, and I felt so much more comfortable about leaving. Very thankful to have found her and will absolutely be using her again when I go out of town!

Mickey's
624 Vincennes St, New AlbanyMy favorite café/bookstore in the area. Incredibly charming and friendly, with the best atmosphere I could ask for. They have plenty of snacks and a large drink menu, which hasn't disappointed me yet. Mickey and all of his staff are knowledgable and nice, and it's affordable, as well. They have a restroom, free water, and street parking. There's lots of events, as well, such as a tarot reading night I went to, weekly craft nights, and a market on sundays!

Agave & Rye New Albany
324 E Main St, New AlbanyBayoue Baddie, Crown Jewel, Shrimp Ragoon, and a drink that sent me to a small piece of heaven! The first (bayoue baddie) had alligator, with the best taste you can find! Second was (Crown Jewel) this was just as you'd expect with lobster that changed my mind over any seafood I've ate!! Next, was a shrimp that I devoured in about a minute and a half..! Last a creamsicle drink as mentioned above! Phenomenal job to this restaurant, you guys are amazing and thank you for an amazing experience! You have an amazing staff and a chef I'd fight for!
Salma and Ally were phenomenal and amazing! Guys listen, 3rd time here.. multiple reviews, just that amazing!

KIM and BAB Korean Cuisine
3012 Charlestown Crossing, New AlbanyI lived in Geochang, South Korea about 14 years ago, and ever since moving to the Midwest I’ve struggled to find truly authentic Korean dishes—especially bibimbap served in a hot stone bowl (dolsot bibimbap). This restaurant absolutely delivers!
I ordered the dolsot bibimbap and added tofu (see my attached picture of my meal). I was asked if I still wanted the traditional egg on top (which you can omit if you want a vegan meal). I said yes. The moment the bowl hit the table, sizzling hot, I knew it was the real deal. The flavors, textures, and crispy rice at the bottom were exactly how I remember them from Korea. Every bite was so delicious—comforting, fresh, and perfectly seasoned. I appreciated being asked if I wanted chopsticks AND that the traditional Korean Gochujang sauce was on the table, as well.
The staff was extremely kind, welcoming, and attentive, and the entire restaurant was very clean, which made the experience even better. And I loved the addition of K-pop music and the music videos playing—they added such an authentic Korean feel to the whole meal and made me feel like I was back in Korea again.
If you’re craving genuine Korean cuisine, this place is a must-visit. Even though I live in Ohio - literally 3 hours away from the restaurant - I’m already excited to come back! Seriously, give this place a try and have your own experience. I am VERY happy that we took the detour here for lunch while on our way to Louisville, KY.
