I needed a prescription for blood pressure filled quickly, but due to taking on prescriptions from a store Kroger closed recently, they told me it wouldn't be available until the next day and told me to go somewhere else.

To be sure, this Kroger has positive attributes. The staff is polite, the store and parking lot alike are kept pretty clean, and it's in a great location that usually doesn't get too crowded. What's unfortunate is that the options and overall supply tend to be lacking compared to other Kroger stores. The heightened supply chain issues this year certainly haven't helped, but this has been an issue for this Kroger long before 2022 or even COVID-19. Even the super old-school Kroger on Grant Line Rd has fuller shelves and better variety. Hopefully this Charlestown Road location is able to turn that issue around in the future, because it would be a prime spot otherwise.

I used to shop at Kroger and I will no longer do so the way you are treating the unvaccinated employees is discrimination and I hope you get sued..

This Kroger is chronically understaffed particularly in the pharmacy where you may arrive 45 minutes before closing, stand in line the entire time and still not get your prescription because they close on you. Don't think you're going to go through the drive through either. They have completely shut it down. Manager was did miss dismissive and more worried about their problems than you getting what you need. If you pay for help, you will get employees. Other pharmacies don't seem to be having the same problem so I'm Moving all my prescriptions and going to Meijer's from now on.

Andy went out of his way this evening when I called the store to check inventory in an item. He was friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Appreciate his great service.

I ordered a cake here online and picked it up today. I pay for it and get ready to leave and realized my sons name was spelled wrong on the cake... take it back in and the girl there says she can fix it, so she fixes it for about 20 minutes. Scrapes off the name and almost half of the cake to correct the name. When she returns it to me, the part of the name she fixed isn’t even the same writing as the beginning, and the background of the icing she had to scrape off is clearly visible and looks total opposite of what it did before. She hands it to me and says here I did my best, go home and just cut it quick. Not to mention that the icing wasn’t even the correct color that I had ordered. Very disappointed that I wasted my time and money here. Will not order from here again.

As much as I appreciate the hard working employees showing up to work during the crisis we are currently experiencing, I really can't appreciate the lack of action by Kroger store management (however high decisions have to be made) in regard to grocery pickup. I placed an order 3 days out for a 7 to 8pm pickup. I was contacted by store personnel at 6pm on that day of pick up, to be advised they're having system issues and I would not be able to pick up order until after 10am the next day. I was really ok with that. 10:15am i arrived to find there was a line the length of the parking lot "waiting" to get a pick up space! so now we are blocking other "in store" customer vechicles and when they come out we have to move to allow them to exit and now we have lost our place in line. How much red tape would have to be cut through for the brightest of the "decision makers" to realize more spaces need to be designated for pick up orders (even if temporarily)?? I tried to do what was best for myself and others by using pick up to reduce exposure during pandemic, but won't use pickup again until the Kroger "decision makers" get a handle on the huge inconvenience of a supposed convenient (safer) service. I canceled my order.

I keep forgetting that there are different liquor laws in the state I now live in, and in the very nearby adjacent state of Indiana. It is confusing, to say the least. Anyway, I was dogsitting nearby, a friend came to keep me company and lift my spirits following a recent sadness. I suggested instead of going out somewhere, we walk to Kroger and grab a frozen pizza or two and a bottle or two of wine and hang out at home. A Kroger is a Kroger is a Kroger. You generally know where to find whatever you need, and you will have options. I was quite impressed with the frozen pizza options they had at this store. I just had also expected there to be an attached (or at least in the same general parking lot area) liquor and spirits store. I don't know if that is just this location, or in Indiana in general, but there was not one of those here. So we, annoyingly, had to make another trip to another location. So...it is fine. I don't live over here or even come over to Southern Indiana on a remotely regular basis....so I don't even see myself coming here again anyway.
