Bradys Amusements 6/11/22The dragon wagon ride was way too rough. Not sure why the speed was higher when my daughter rode it. It seemed that it wasn't rough when other kids rode it afterwards. She did get her ticket back, and I just hope she doesn't get whiplash from it. She did enjoy the other rides there at the FCF.

Stopped by to vote in the IN Primary Election. The parking lot entry/exit was not well marked or safe getting off or on Green Valley Road, parking spaces not well marked and with the lot full some cars pulled-in and parked so close you could barely get out or back in your car without doors hitting, there was no allowance at entry for those voters who were handicapped (parking close to the door, allowing entry at front of the line and not walking to back of line and standing for extended period of time), staffing was friendly and helpful. Would of been nice to have more Voting locations to speed up time in waiting as during General Election.

I absolutely love the fairgrounds. It's the best place for picnics, dog walks, exercising, ect. They are always up to date about events around the town happening. They even host the 4-h fair, as well as the election polls, and much more. It's a great place to check out.

Dinosaur event is a joke, misleading advertising. 10 min trip should be 10 usd, tops.

Dinosaurs adventure drive thru was WAY over priced and only took us 20 min to see them all. Half of them were broke. Not worth the money.

Was walking my dog here, and someone pulled out mace and threatened to spray us because she felt we were too close to her(I've walked my dog here every single day without incident and we were on opposite sides of the path). Hopefully, it wasn't an employee. Didn't have my phone, so when I called the cops she had already fled the area.Be careful people are getting bold, and looking for reasons to apply "self-defense".

Early voting today, and it was busy, even after two days of being open. This voting site is open until Election Day Tuesday-Friday, as well as Saturdays starting October 24th. This location is for the Floyd County/New Albany area. The Floyd County/Floyd Knobs area has early voting at Valley View Golf Course. On Election Day, both locations will be open, along with eight other polling sites around the county. I love early voting and it surely helps with crowds on Election Day. This was my first time voting at this location, as I usually vote in my neighborhood. However, I've been here for other functions before. The fairground is operated by Floyd County 4-H. The 4-H provides development programs for youth in the area, and works closely with Purdue University. Event rental is also available for the facility. Other than today, my visits have been for private functions, where the hall was rented. It served those events well. Along with early voting, I saw a car line that appeared to be for COVID testing in the back part of the property. There were quite a few cars lined up for that. Voting took about twenty-thirty minutes, as there was a line. All went off professional, as usual. The bi-partisan group of poll workers over here are great. You must have an ID in Indiana. It was great to see so many elderly citizens out voting in person. People were polite and everyone let them go ahead. For those concerned about COVID, they were practicing all of the state safety regulations. The mask mandate ends in Indiana on October 17th, so I'm not sure what the guidelines at the polls regarding masks will be after that. All in all, this is a nice fairground for the community. It provides great services, one of which was a chance to participate civically early and with less hassle. Thanks Floyd County 4-H.
