Finding a daycare as a foster parent to young children with trauma can be very hard. The director Kim is AMAZING. She is kind, empathetic, and helpful. She ensures everyone's safety and is very professional. She implements tools to support these children and her staff as well. Her communication has been amazing. 10/10 recommend this daycare.

RUN AWAY! Look at the other past reviews! every word these mothers have said are TRUE! I can attest because it matches MY STORY WITH THEM. This was the first daycare I sent my daughter to at 1 year old. Things were going rather well and it overall seemed nice... Until my daughters teacher quit. it turned into a never stopping revolving door. I couldn't keep up with the change of staff. There were TWO RSV outbreaks & 1 ring worm... Both times my daughter got RSV which turned into pneumonia & she had ringworm on his leg - none of the teachers noticed it all day. Then I receive a photo through the app of my daughter asleep on the FLOOR not a cot, with no pillow. Cried herself to sleep and passed out. She got a black eye that day from a little boy who was playing and running, he kicked her. Athena and Tiffany both told me Clarity was special needs and needed to be evaluated because they did not think they had the proper settings for her. while waiting for an appointment evaluation, the daycare started sending clarity home sick 2-4 times a week. They knew my husband and I worked over an hour away from this location, I lost my job over this. Turns out, my daughter is not autistic. The owner is also a funeral home director. I just find it strange that an investor would choose a funeral home and a daycare... Polar opposites... They allow kids to ruin their clothes and shoes, does not help with potty training, way to many kids to a classroom.. It's a nightmare. STAY AWy

I had my son in august and I was terrified to try daycare for the first time. I looked at many daycares and finally decided this one was the best fit. That was the absolute best decision I could have made. I say all the time how much I love this daycare. I never have to worry about my son. They update me every time he eats, sleeps, and gets his diaper changed. They also send me pictures and videos every day. My son likes being there. He loves Savannah in the baby room. He reaches for her every morning as soon as we get there, and I can tell she feels the same way. I really felt obligated to leave a review because childcare is a big deal and I’m so unbelievably thankful I found this daycare. It gives me so much relief knowing my son is in good hands every day.

I have worked here since September and I never have had an issue out of any of the workers. My 2 daughters LOVE their teachers. I am VERY picky about my children and I refused to put them in any daycare unless I was working at the same facility and if I ever got another job working somewhere besides BKA, I would feel 10000% comfortable leaving my babies here while I’m working. My youngest daughter was in the infant house before moving over to the toddler room in the main building and all the girls loved on her and she loved being over there with them. I fully trust the girls here with my babies.

Love love love this place. I have 2 daughter's that go here and they absolutely love their school! The staff is loving and caring and just an overall family atmosphere. When I drop my kids off for the day I know for a fact they are getting the best care! I also love the brightwheel charting app they use.

This place has been great for my son (2 years old). He likes coming every day and has learned a lot during his time here. My son has special needs (medical issues) when it comes to eating and they are very accommodating and let us bring in food for him to eat. They also run everything by us before he is given anything new. All communication and daily updates are done through the Brightwheel app which is really nice.I knocked off a star bc of turnover and it makes me nervous given my son's issues but I realize that is not specific to Brighter Kids and everyone is dealing with staffing issues

Be careful!!!! A lot the 5 star reviews are directly from ownership (Athena Boatwright) and some of the staff that actually works there or family related to Mrs Boatwright. The daycare is rather new.I will say some of the staff is professional, HOWEVER the program director Tiffany Pixley, Owner Anthena Boatwright, and Caregiver Savannah Coffee seem to consistently miss the mark. They have a tendency to be understaffed, difficult to work with, and unprofessional around communication and overall care of our young baby boy. I walked in on multiple occasions of alarming behaviors and experienced first hand the unprofessionalism from the staff.I personally would think twice before sending your child here and understand you kind of get what you pay for…..

Please read before sending your child to this facility! I have an 8 1/2 month old. The daycare started off fine at first. Eventually I started getting bombarded with messages on the app that my kid was sick every Thursday-4 weeks straight to be exact and he needed to be picked up. It would be for spit up. I would leave work, go get him, get home and he would be completely fine. And then they started threatening to dismiss him because he was fussy! Ummmm...excuse me, he is a baby?! Athena would never pick up the phone and communicate with us. It was always messages through the app. Tiffany (which is Athenas assistant) is completely rude and does not know how to take care of infants. She has no patience and is quite rude. The thing thag really did it in for us was when they sent a message on week 5 in a row that he has thrown up again....once again on a Thursday (shocking). I then get a picture of him posted on the app, sitting on their kitchen floor with milk poured all over the floor and him. It was def not vomit! I asked multiple people what that looked like and it was def a bottle poured out. Disgusting! The kid never threw up on my watch! They proceed to say if he has a medical condition of reflux we need it documented. He had never had reflux and that was never even mentioned. After I took him 2 more days because I had to find another place. They did not acknowledge me when I walked in or him. He is a baby! It made me feel sick leaving him there with people that were going to treat him like that and not look after him. Luckily we got him out of there and will never look back! That place honestly needs to be shut down. The morning girls are terrible as well as Athena and Tiffany! They do not care. They only care about that weekly payment.

This was my first time ever putting my children in day care, it was temporarily for the summer. I called and the owner answered and said that they indeed had 3 openings for my daughters and to walk in at a set time to fill out an application, tell them Anthony, the owner sent you Well I did just that, and when I get there to retrieve the application, the director said to me "there is a waiting list" to which I replied, Anthony told me to come in that there are spots and she replies so snotty, "oh he is going over our heads now" I should have taken that as a red flag but I needed help for the summer. The director and staff treated my family very rudely from the first day, I paid a $120 application fee as well as my weekly payment, through an "app" and the director overcharged my account TWICE when I brought it to her attention she insisted it was the correct amount, upon further investigation, my caseworker for the vouchers confirmed I was over charged twice and the director only credited my account $5, two times One day my 5 year old had an accident and they texted me on the app rather than calling me and my poor baby sat in pee clothes all day I was working and didn't have time to check the app messages One day they called that my 7 year old was asleep outside at 1030 (a child who never naps) and they just told her to come inside They called me at 1:30 and the worker said my daughter was crying in the hallway laying on the floor with a blanket, they then took her temp and it was 103.5 A 7 year old falling asleep on a playground at 10a should have been an immediate call to parents and temp check. When I confronted the director she said well NO where takes temps anymore, as per the governor, yada yada Which I quickly found out was majorly false They're rude and the owner refused to respond to me about my concerns I quickly switched day cares and the new one is a whole new world! No "application fee" no weekly charges or overcharges, for even better care!!!! BE WARNED

Starting a new Daycare for my two year old was intimidating to say the least. I researched, toured and spoke with several other daycares in the Southern Indiana area for several months before finding Brighter Kids. After touring, I really liked it and was excited to find a daycare I felt comfortable with. My daughter is onto her third week there and she loves it. No tears when I drop her off, she is so excited when we pull into the parking lot every morning. She is always glowing & happy at pick up as well. They have an awesome app that updates you through out the day with meals, pictures, etc. Very happy with our choice!
