This is my favorite ace hardware! Even though I live in Louisville and it takes about 30 minutes to travel to Holmes, I enjoy patronizing this location. It’s got a classic co-op vibe and the store is clean and well-stocked.

I really like Ace hardware in New Albany, everyone that works there is really eager to help you they greet you when you walk in the door and ask if they could help you, and if you do need assistance they know how to help you with what you need.
I mainly like it because it's a small store it's not like having to walk through home Depot or Lowe's to get little things nuts and bolts things like that.
Some things are a little more pricey than home Depot or Lowe's but for the convenience and the assistance I don't mind paying the extra money.

Good for Nails, screws, a large variety that are cheap, you can buy as many as you want, rest of the store is extremely expensive

The staff was very helpful in finding what we wanted. I usually go to Ace Hardware in Salem, but my daughter lives closer to New Albany. I have always been well treated at Ace Hardware.

Called on Monday to get an estimate to have a car key made. Was very specific with who I talked to about the year, make, model, and ignition type of my vehicle. I was quoted a price of either $100 for a fob with no buttons that would start the car and unlock the doors, or $365 for a 3 botton fob. When I went today to get the key made I was told that they didn't have a $100 key fob, and it would be $365.
I've since corresponded with the owner and I appreciate their responsiveness. While I did bit have a good experience today, businesses that are that responsive should be commended and I have amended my rating to reflect that.
