Had a terrible experience this year, my bank account info was entered incorrect and I was never asked to verify on screen if it was correct. Now I’m out 400 dollars and have yet to receive my refund or even know when I will. I also paid a fee to have the funds direct deposited and have not been offered a refund for that service although they never direct deposited my refund. Very disappointed and never again!!!!

If I could give the H&R Block in Nappanee 100 stars I would.This is my first year with a small LLC business. Today I had a general tax question, which did not require for me to schedule an appointment. Before calling this location I reached out to other tax businesses (none H&R Block numbers) to request information, however none wanted to answer my question. Most wanted me to personally visit their building , so they could provide an answer (which of course I did not visit). Those businesses sounded very rude when I kindly said "No, thank you. But I still thank you for your time." I decided to contact H&R Block in Nappanee over the phone at 1:21PM. Merlyn answered my call. Let me tell you he was VERY professional and answered my simple question, without me having to visit the location. Not once did he make me feel like I was an inconvenience by asking my general tax question. Our call lasted ONLY 4 minutes with 21 seconds, which was enough for me to see H&R Block have a great team! Thank you Merlyn for your kindness, professionalism, and patience!

I've had my business and personal taxes done here for past 3-4 years. Every single time there is an issue/mistake/error created by Merlyn that I have to end up resolving myself. Things he should be resolving based on the exorbitant fees I have paid him. I just received documentation from feds regarding my 2021 taxes because my return was not signed and did not include my 1099. Well, I sent Merlyn my 1099 and I signed all the documents for e-filing but the IRS sent me my return with his inked signature and mine left blank. WHY????? Obviously he didn't e file my return. Obviously he mailed it in without my documents or my signature. Even a novice would know that won't work. Every year it's the same, Merlyn makes an error. Plus, have an issue???? It's Incredibly hard to talk to the person you need.

I always feel like she helps me and makes sure that everything is exactly correct prior to moving on. She also helps me to understand what she is doing while she is doing it rather than simply plugging numbers in without telling me anything.
