This is baby Benni fitting in beautifully with his fur BFF Miss LilyDave was awesome to work with from the moment I wanted him in our lives. Always answered the many questions I had. Nice guy. Found a beautiful Cavapoo from here 5 years ago and she has been very healthy, smart, loyal and a wonderful companion. Dealing with them was easy and setting up delivery was great. I would highly recommend this place

I found my beloved Frenchie at Family Puppies. I received three vet opinions that informed me she is in excellent health. It’s been almost two years now, and we love our doggy! She is doing great and has a good temperament ! I highly recommend this breeder, and it’s a beautiful drive through the countryside as well! He was very flexible as I was running late due to a storm and traffic through the Chicago area. Check this place out!

Dave was a pleasure to work with! His facility was clean environment. He answered all questions beforehand. Our pup is very well mannered around dogs, people , and kids. He came with up to date shots and the vet said he was very healthy! Would 100% recommend getting a dog from him!

Dave and his family are amazing breeders! My fiancé and myself recently got a cockapoo named Tucker and he is perfect!We got him in great healthy, all up to date with shots and heart worm medicine! As well as top notch hygiene, he was very clean! Tucker has been amazing in our house with our other dog Dukie and cat as well! It took a couple days to warm up but he is the perfect addition to our family!I would HIGHLY recommend anyone to pick up a pup from David and his family! Would have gotten more if we could!Thank you again Dave, Tucker is amazing and we are so in love with him!

My husband and I bought a puppy from Dave last week that was delivered to my brother-in-law in Michigan this morning. I found Dave very easy to work with and prompt with his communication. He sent me pictures of the parents as well as 8 different photos of the puppy he recommended based on temperament. When I video chatted with my brother-in-law, his puppy looked well cared for, calm, clean and adorable of course. I did not see Dave's kennel (though he offered for me to come), so I cannot speak to that experience but I felt he was knowledgeable, helpful, and incredibly precise with his timeline for driving two hours north to meet my brother-in-law.

We bought a cockapoo from Dave in January. We had a great experience from the first contact. Dave was very responsive even after we picked up our puppy with questions we had. We have had no issues with our sweet Bentley. He is healthy with zero issues since we got him. Highly suggest Family Puppies.

I was planning on purchasing a puppy from Dave. However, what really threw me off was new puppies were uploaded to his website when there were already several older puppies still in need of a home. So, I then went through and counted how many puppies were available for sale. Over 70 puppies. I decided that I could not support his business. I'm not against breeders but if you do any research, a reputable breeder will have a ton of paper work on the parents and even have genetic testing done and really understand the temperament of each puppy. While I did not visit his breeding facility, I cannot possibly trust someone who has that many puppies available. How can you even control the breeding when all of these dogs aren't even neutered or spayed. And, there aren't even updated photos of each puppy that was born almost a year ago.I continued to do some research and while there are many good reviews, Family Puppies is featured in annual Horrible Hundred report on problem puppy mills in 2020. It's a shame because I do believe all of his dogs deserve a loving home, but purchasing a dog from him would mean I'm helping keep his business alive.I would just advise any one to really do their research on what kind of business your money would be supporting before you make your purchase.

Nice place! We got an Italian greyhound puppy from them. Dave was great to work with. Our puppy is Winston he is 4 months old. We got him 2 weeks ago. He is just the sweetest. He is loving, smart and calm. He loves people and other dogs. Adjusting very well. Doing great with potty training. He had a vet visit a few days ago- checkup was all good. I will update as time goes on.
