If I could give less stars, I would. They are the most unacceptable VP in Muncie. They do not accommodate the customers, most of the employees and managers are rude. Went in on 3rd shift the other night, some girl was working and had her boyfriend sitting behind the counter with her. Very unprofessional. Since GPM investments have taken over the Village Pantries, it has gone downhill 100%. There is one gentleman that works there that is awesome and helps customers the best he can. He is very tall and has dreadlocks. Unfortunately I haven't been able to catch his name. I will not be able to now, as I refuse to step foot back into that VP again.

I’ve spent a LOT of money here over the years as a Uber driver. Now the restrooms are closed at night. They were never great to begin with, but they were dependable.Now you’ve lost me as a customer for good.

I came into this store a few nights ago and got to meet a man name Cody Russell. This man was doing a few things but he made me feel important and talk to me not just as a customer he made me feel like we were friends. I do a lot of travelling for work and this boosted my spirits and made me feel better about the long day I had. The store was clean and customer service was amazing I am happy I found this store along my way and I will be back when I come through town.

Went in to get gas and a drink. coffee was extremely nasty, like it had been sitting for longer than it should have. The cashier was rude to me when I got to the counter and made her aware of the issue, did not practice customer service whatsoever. Jason Lee (store manager?) was extremely unprofessional and rude as well when I asked to speak to a manager. He told me I would have to leave the store, and that she was doing nothing wrong by speaking that way to me, even though the mantra is “customer is always right” Unprofessional to have someone managing a store like that. I will never come back to this store, and I’m going to tell everyone I know not to either

Coffee was nasty, as if it had been sitting there all night. This was approx 830am. The coffee bar hadn't been stocked. Coffee baskets sitting on counter. It takes not even 30 seconds to start the pots

Went to get gas and a drink. The coffee had been sitting for a while and I told the cashier so she'd be made aware that it wasn't fresh. She proceeded to be rather rude to me, and i asked to speak to a manager about it. The manager, Jason Lee was no better about it. He said that there was nothing wrong with what the girl had said behind the counter and that I would have to leave. I was a paying customer, and I only wanted fresh coffee. How unprofessional of a manager To speak to me in the way he did. I will never be coming back. I will also tell everyone I know not to come back either. I manage an establishment myself and if these were my employees I would have replaced them with ones who weren't rude to customers.

DO NOT go to this store with old money they will tell you it's fake and not give it back to you and when the police show up they will do nothing to resolve the situation and they wont give it back to you.

Went in to get some food before class and the woman working behind where the food was at ignored me several times and finally said, “are you just standing there or do you want something?†First off that was rude? I said yes I want something. She continued to slam stuff around and then asked what I wanted. I told her I wanted a lunch box and she grabbed chicken that I didnt like, so I told her I didn't want that that I wanted the other chicken and so she put the chicken back and said the other chicken doesn't come in a lunch box and just walked away. Basically I didn't get any food for class and I'm not happy. Always had great service until her. I won't be coming back now.
