Been in here severallll times. My husband is into RC cars so he goes in there frequently for parts and what not. Went in there today for my husband to pick up his RC car. Brought our oldest daughter in for the first time. I showed her the roller coaster toy and showed her how to crank it. She is a little bit short so she had to stretch on her tip toes to crank it. She wasn’t hurting anything by any means but I think his name is Edgar said “we have a no tip toe rule in here and that means you” talking straight to my daughter. I was baffled because I was literally standing there helping her. I mean, she’s a 10 year old not a little kid.Then shortly after that, my 5 year old jumped on this pad that shoots a rocket up in the air. It was already sitting out but the hose wasn’t straightened so even though she jumped on it, the rocket didn’t do anything. I turned around to help her and then the owner or at least an older guy came out and he was like “you can only shoot rockets in here within the circles” So there it was, the mama bear in me was at full rage at this point. So I smiled at my girls while my husband was up at the counter getting his RC car and I said let’s go. So after I push the girls out the door and we waited for my husband outside, the two workers made a comment along the lines of “guess mom doesn’t want them to play” while my husband was standing right there. Well, sorry guys but you need to learn how to read the room. It’s not a matter of “guess mom doesn’t want them to play” rather it’s a matter of mom recognized the hurt and embarrassment in both of my kids faces after each of them had been called out by Edgar and the store owner.Alright, sorry hubby but we are gonna get your RC parts somewhere else from here on out. I respect that they have their own set of rules but after seeing the embarrassed look in my 10 year olds face after the guy called her out for being on her tip toes and then the other guy was rude about the rocket, I’m done. If you have a problem with my kids, you talk to me about it. Not them. This all happened within a matter of 2 or 3 minutes after walking inside the store.As soon as my husband joined us outside, he was the one that first spoke about how unpleasant that whole encounter was and he actually was the first one to say we won’t be going back because of how incredibly uncomfortable the sales men made it. And to think, my 10 year old asked me what it was that she had done to make them “mad at her.” You guys made a 10 year old feel that way. I’m all for supporting small businesses but you have to give me a reason to support you.

Our family had visited Muncie for the first time yesterday for a train show at the fairgrounds. We decided to pop over here to check out what Toys Forever was about. I must say we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff was fun, allowed us to play with toys, showed us new cool fun gadgets and made us feel like they had known us for years. Thank you for allowing us the time to play. We found some airbrush paint for models, a train turn out at a great price and some fun putty for sensory stimulation during boredom times. Thanks again!

The store owner was very nice, he actually let me and my daughter go outside with a few of the bigger toys with out even paying for them! If you are looking for a good old-fashioned toy store with a little something for everyone, then this is your place. Highly recommend ?

One of the best toy stores I’ve ever been to. They only stock high quality items. My wife has a masters in early childhood education, and this place is full of toys she’s purchased for our son.

Stopped in to pass some time while in town for work. Great store with a large variety of products for all ages. Really enjoyed just browsing and enjoying the large selection of items. Owner and employees were friendly and ready to answer any questions. It is easy to understand why this store has so many great reviews!
