My husband and I have a mortgage and a home improvement loan. This particular branch messed up our mortgage payment & paid off the remainder of the other loan. They admitted it was their mistake but refused to make it right and wanted us to back pay for the month we were unable to make a payment because the loan was closed out. The branch vice president Chris Holmes hung up on my husband durning a todays phone conversation & has remained incredibly unprofessional. He claims he cannot speak to me because my name isn’t on the loan. He is clearly unwilling to speak to my husband as well. We have multiple pieces of mail evidence along with phone conversations admitting and proving their fault. They are now hitting my husband credit. Their communication has been absolutely horrible. Claiming they would get back with us on multiple occasions. I highly recommend visiting another branch. The New Castle, IN branch has always been wonderful & very professional. We have since had to resort to filing claims with the CFPB and FDIC.

My dad just moved and it has been a struggle helping him take care of his finances. Erin helped on the phone and in branch and was able to help resolve some issues for us. She was amazing; so as the Teller who helped me as well. Great customer service!

This bank is the worst. Something is always wrong, and they never take responsibility. My daughter and I have banked here for years and I keep thinking things will change but they just get worse. We are both closing our accounts. Bank at Star. Stay away from this bank.
