Unsure how their work is, but I will say very unsafe. Working on a 2 lane backroad, have their big truck taking up one lane and it’s on a corner. No signs to know there is workers ahead, a lane blocked ahead, and nobody to let the cars passing through know if they are clear to go. Was taking my son to school and was taken off guard and hurried to slow down cause a worker had to get something from the truck. He did let me know I was clear to go. (Not because that’s what his job was, just because he was by the truck) and then on way back I slowed down, slowly started going around their truck HOPING I was in the clear and a jeep and I both had to hurry and stop (especially the jeep since he was going way faster) but thankfully we did stop or else it would’ve been a head on collision. If your going to block a lane and ESPECIALLY on a corner, for SAFETY reasons there should be signs and someone to direct traffic. I know I wouldn’t be able to live with myself if I hit a worker. And I don’t leave the house in hopes of wrecking.

This companies road crew botched their own traffic control and then shouted obscenities when I proceeded through. When I stopped to inquire what company they were with, I was met with even more verbal abuse. As I am someone who has worked in this field, I find this highly unprofessional.

Consummate professionals to say the least. From the president (owner), administrative staff, Superintendents, Foremen and the impressive men that make it happen. When every member of a SSI construction crew walks up, introduces themselves and shakes your hand prior to walking the job out. This shows character, good leadership and a conduct that is not often seen these days.
