Took my sister's ring in for cleaning and a check to make sure stones were tight. They noticed all the prong tips were worn down just from age. They got the tips all redone and it looks like new! So professional, so courteous. Highly recommend.5+ star!

Took a ring here to be bent back to its original shape and was out the door within a couple minutes and wasn't charged a dime. It was an easy fix so this may not be the same scenario for every customer but it was appreciated.

I would give no stars. We came in the other day with an 18 karat gold ring with a beautiful diamond, another ring with a jade jewel, plus two more nice rings as well as a medallion. The man tried to tell my friend he couldn't sell either very well and low balled her trying to say he couldn't tell what the green jewel was. Pathetic, for someone that's a jeweler. I can't remember the exact offer he made to her, but it wasn't more than $200 and said that's the best he could do and we could take it elsewhere if we didn't believe him. Well, we took them to Mason's in Plainfield where they offered her over $1,000. I can't imagine how many people this wretched man has swindled over the years.

I came in there because they had a sign that said we buy gold so I took my necklace and bracelet in there and an older lady was very rude and told my my jewelry was fake and she had no desire to buy it turns out the jewelry is real I had it tested. It’s sold now but I would be careful a jeweler that can’t tell if gold is gold worry’s me not to mention she was kinda rude like she was mad I took my business to her but won’t be coming by there anymore. Not a very good selection of jewelry also to say the least.

Do not try to buy or sell jewelry from if you want fair prices or honesty from the workers. They have fake/cheap gold and diamonds and advertise them as real when the diamonds are glass and gold is plated. Rude customer service would not recommend

Had a stone fall out of the ring and brought it in to have it looked at. Being from out of town, we were worried about how long it’d take. They were so accommodating and able to have their in-house repair guy fix it in a matter of minutes. Phenomenally friendly service, would go again!

Incredibly unsatisfied by the service I have received at Hastings. After reading reviews I decided to take my ring here to be resized. Had to bring it back to be sized down again & it is still too big. The first time it was still too big, ok, not a huge deal. But the second time should have been enough. All 4 times i was in the store, i wanted to scream over the pathetic excuse of customer service i received. Would absolutely never walk in their door again. They treated me like i was interrupting them & inconveniencing them every single time I came in. Every one of them has been nothing but Incredibly rude in every way. Planned to buy our wedding rings here as well but that's definitely never gonna happen. Mad at myself for spending ANY money in this store. Would NEVER give them my business again. Would take back what business I did give them if I could. Would highly recommend going anywhere but here. I have absolutely nothing good to say about them.

I absolutely love this store. They take such great care of their customers and are very personable. They helped me understand the value in my ring and let me know that I purchased a great ring I bought it elsewhere, because I didn't know about Hastings. It wasn't until I asked around for a place that would size my ring was I told about this store. They sized my ring PERFECTLY and you can't even tell it was sized. I've had other jewelry places size rings and there is a line or discolored place where they sized it. Not at this store. The ring looks perfect, like it was originally made this size. I had to wait an extra few days to pick up my ring and they were so understanding and great about it.I will not go to any other jewelry store from here on. Not only do they have great prices in their cases, but they have great prices too. Thank you, all at Hastings Jewelers. You have made me one happy woman!!! ?

Outstanding!! I feel my wedding rings are more beautiful than when my husband originally bought them ? I had my middle diamond of my wedding ring fall out while working and was unable to locate the diamond. I dropped both rings off on Saturday to replace the diamond, retip, resize, and polish. I received a call on Tuesday that they were ready for pick up! Absolutely AMAZING customer service and will be doing any future needs/ wants with this wonderful, small town, locally owned business! Thank you!!!

I don't shop for jewelry often, but the stores I've been to, usually have an army of sales people who want you to buy something (pushy) or nobody to help you at all. But I had a completely different and enjoyable experience while stopping by early on a Saturday morning. I received my wedding ring 38 years ago and even more pounds ago. So, even my fingers have gained girth over the years. So much so that the last time I took my ring off was 2004. Even without an appointment, I walked in and was greeted. I told him I needed to have my wedding ring re-sized and would need to have it cut off since there was no way I could slide it up and over the knuckle without causing grievous pain to me. The shop owner pulled out a handy tool and with my help, he slid his cutting tool under my ring without any problem and cut through the bottom of the band. Note that he asked if there was any engraving he needed to be aware of BEFORE cutting. This guy is a professional jeweler and in just a few minutes, my ring was off. He patiently explained that because my ring had been in place for so long, I had a flat part of my finger that would eventually flesh out without the ring on it. And the area near it was fleshy right now until it eventually moved down into the flatter area. He let me know this would take two or three months to even out. If he would have taken the measurement for how much to enlarge my ring today, it would be too small if measured on the flat spot and too big on the fleshy part and would be likely to fall off. So, even though I would have liked to have had the finished ring today, it wasn't in my best interest if I wanted the jeweler to size my ring correctly. So, he charged me for the cutting today and told me to come back when the finger was more normal shaped in a couple months so that he could get a proper sizing. Unfortunately, he couldn't give me an estimate without knowing how much gold it would take to put the ring back together at the proper size. Although it will be weird not having my ring on for a couple months, I appreciate the honesty and pride in workmanship the owner had. While he dealt with my ring removal, he encouraged my wife to browse the cases and answered some of her questions while he worked. He mentioned that they get really busy around all the holidays, so wait times can be somewhat longer, so shop when it isn't a holiday season if you want faster service/turnaround time. I liked supporting a local family run business and getting such thoughtful and professional service left me with a very positive feeling about this place. Review 3817

They are always reasonably priced on their jewelry and do a fantastic job with repairs. I, personally, I’ve been going there for years!

very rude, when I mentioned someone would bend it back into shape for free he didn’t seem to want to help. Wasn’t very confident in his skills to not break a ring with a small bend either. Told me to buy a pool que and fix it myself. Went across the street to jc jewelers and got excellent service. Do not give Hastings ur business they don’t deserve it they don’t care about you or your rings only money.
