Update:The owner reached out and apologized for their former employee’s work. We’re just now getting through all of the ground beef from 2021 and we are not impressed with quality, but thankful for small businesses who do the dirty work that we don’t want to do.Times were tough during Covid for small businesses and finding quality employees is not an easy task, so based on all the other good reviews and the kindness of the owner, we’re changing our opinion and will give them another chance in the future.Careless processing and packaging. Styrofoam (why and from what?) in one pound of ground beef. And I have no idea why or what that discolored package is in the first picture but ?

1/3 of this roast was fat as were all the roasts and steaks we got. Unsatisfactory with what we got.

Excellent experience all the way around. Everything about the processing was explained in advance and ready in less than a week. Everyone was very friendly, helpful, and explained all the packaging options on Friday. I was called the following Monday and told my order would be ready to pick up the following Thursday. I arrived Friday at noon (EST) and was back on the road 20 min later. I was both shocked and amazed that everything was already vacuum-sealed and every package clearly labeled with the contents.I wish they were closer, but I'll definitely be back! Highly recomend...

Excellent butchering and processing for both lamb and beef - haven't raised pigs (yet !) . Very willing to try to make new products - different cuts/smoke/cures etc. Easiest and friendliest processer to work with that we have found based on our experience with 7 processors in two different areas of the country. Excellent service and can trust them completely. Processing and butchering can be a brutally hard job and they deserve a huge amount of credit for doing it so well. As always in any business with lots of employees, animals, and different moving parts, things can go wrong, or not turn out perfectly, but clear communication from the customer ahead of time is key, and for us they have always done their best to fix anything that has not been 100%.

They have best customer service! We took 6 beef in and not one customer had any complaints. Everything was handled professionally the cuts were done just as asked. We will definitely be back in the future!

As for Monon Meat Packing butchering your product, this place is horrible the cuts of meat were uneven and sloppy. They charge extra for vacuum sealing and I have packages that have burst open because the sealer was set at a high heat and burned the seal to where the packages just burst open not a strong seal. I also ordered certain parts like, the liver, the tongue, and the heart and they were missing. I called and they said that they would deliver these to me by Friday and they never showed up. I called and they assured me that they would make it right, and they didn't. I called again, and again they said that they would make it right and again they just blew me off. Very poor business practices. I would recommend staying away from this place if you want to process any meat, BAD SERVICE. When they read this review and decide to make it right I will be more than happy to change this review.I must say that Monon came through, there was a misunderstanding and they resolved ALL ISSUES as soon as they could. They changed my mind on service they have good service. So I have changed the rating from a 1 star to a 5 star.
