They don't tell you that the price you pay online will almost double after 3 months. They just surprise you with it. You have no other option than to either pay or it lose your stored items.
EDIT:
Extra Space Storage (Owner), charging double the original amount after only 3 months is "affordable"? And for what? Nothing at the facility has changed within that time.

Maintenance guy is rude. And I think it's ignorant you can't have 24 hour access to the unit.

Overall experience/service is what it is supposed to be. I have a storage unit, and I am able to store my belongings in it. The unit is secure and has no issues with weather integrity.
The facility itself has changed hands a couple of times, the latest owner has raised prices ($165 went up to $215/ mnth) so not ideal. In the process of clearing out to be done paying the monthly payment.

PRICE GOUGING AT ITS FINEST here in a small rural area in southern Indiana. So much for the hospitality we are known for. It's a storage unit, it does all it needs to fit my family's needs in an otherwise difficult time, especially financially. The INCREDIBLY GREEDY owners, however, are NOT family NOR community oriented. Just another other business owner. Raised the price for rent not once but twice AND warning us it will go up again. All in less than one year! My wife called and spoke to owner who was dismissive and extremely rude to her and could care less about losing a loyal, paying customer. Please note, our initial price to rent our 10x30 unit with no temperature control was $130/month, April 2023. September they raised it to $215! AND NOW warning that in April (only a year from start date) they will begin charging us $247!!!!! WHAT!? Almost 100% INCREASE in a year!? Please be careful renting here. Who knows when and how much your prices will get hiked after it is an inconvenience for you to move from one storage to another. If this isn't greedy PRICE GOUGING and taking advantage of people during a recession, then I'm not sure what is. Will submit formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau for them to look into in hopes of getting back to fair prices for our community. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE OF BUSINESS. 0 stars if I could.

Not a bad storage unit, everything seems clean. Pricing isn't the worst around either. The issue that I have is that it is a gated storage facility, you need a passcode to get into. Yet, they "close" at 10 pm and even your passcode won't get you in. This is very inconvenient, especially if you're on a time crunch with moving.

Unfortunately I don't care for the new Management. They're all about their money but not anything about making it easy for the tenants to PAY said money! If I only get paid once a MONTH, WHY do I still have to pay on the first and NOT THE DAY I ACTUALLY HAVE MONEY?! NOW THE LATE FEES HAVE MADE IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR ME TO ACQUIRE THE ITEMS IN THE UNIT AND I CANT AFFORD TO PAY THE BILLS! ???
