I’m in commercial lending—I own a brokerage and several other businesses. I work directly with banks for a living and have dealt with many banks over the course of my career. This is by far the worst bank branch I’ve ever worked with.Here’s the backstory:I’m involved in a new business and it needed $950 to cover some materials for a job, so I sent a western union around 1-29. It went through, we finished the job.WITHOUT TELLING ME the bank put a hold on the western union on the 3rd, then subsequently reversed the transfer from my partners bank account. This put his account in a negative balance with his bank and hurt is reputation.So, we call the bank this morning, they assure me that the transfer would then be completed because I verified it wasn’t fraud, but that my wife had to go to the branch to verify her identity (even though we did on the phone). So, she drove 40 minutes out of her way to the bank to verify and finished, then drove back.I get a call from my partner stating that it still wasn’t through and that western union still had a hold from Woodforest. So I call again to find out why, after speaking to them FIVE HOURS EARLIER, that my transfer was still not through.As it turns out, the manager that verified my wife’s identity NEVER SUBMITTED the verification from the fraud department, and then left early, which meant that my partner’s account would be overdrawn overnight.Absolute negligence, and an easy suit to win if we actually felt like filing.Wood Forest, your service is terrible and you don’t even remotely care about your customers wellbeing.

The bank tellers are Woodforest National Bank are exceptionally rude. I have difficulty understanding how this bank is still in business. I have moved my business to Notre Dame Federal Credit Union because of the poor teller quality at Woodforest National Bank.

Walmart has great customer service they are always willing to replace in fixed in order they would like to keep a customer happy that's one thing that I like about Walmart and they have different varieties in different prices for different things you can get everything in 1 stop

WoodForest Bank - Northern Indiana This bank is supposed to be convenient and have late hours . Hours changed apparently and now regular banking hours and not even that in Indiana. I don't need to go to the bank that often because I do mostly electronic banking but when I need to deposit or cash a check I have to stop. I used to like the bank because of the convenient hours when I travel for work but now not so much. You can't even make deposits through their ATM, when I have deposited into night box the deposits are not always noted to the account first thing next morning, I can't even change a pin on my ATM card without getting a new card and their so called Discover ATM cards won't allow transactions on certain websites or at other stores either, even when I am out of town, plus my branch dont allow large withdrawals unless I call first and make an appointment, I shouldn't have to do that.....this is not being convenient for the customer. The customer service has even changed for the worse. I have been a WoodForest customer for 10+ years and I am looking for a new bank!!

It says open at 9am at the Mishawaka location so I drove 25 miles to get there to take care of some important business before work, only to find they Don t open till 10. SMH

Would give 0 if i could. Would never bank here again. Never heard of a bank charging. $5 just for a statement. And rude isnt even the word.

This is a bank for poor people not regular people. They are quite scammy and charge extra fees for everything. AN ATM withdrawal will cost you the fee at the ATM plus WF charges too. ALso thier international fees are RIDICULOUS SCAMS compared to any other bank on earth. DO NOT USE if you travel internationally under ANY circumstances. Overall if you have extremely poor credit and need a "second chance" bank, they will do. If you have a modicum of self-respect and have decent credit, go elsewhere. This bank also participated in the "overdraft fee" scam for many years until they were legally required to stop. Overall the people are nice, the corporation running this place is literally evil. ONLY use if you have NO OTHER CHOICE!

I can going to open an account went and asked what I needed I was there maybe 10 minutes before close as I had just gotten off of work. Asked to open an account and they said I would have to come back tomorrow because they were about to close and she didn't want to stay late. It was mind blowing that my business got turned away because she didn't want to stay 15 minutes after closing to open my account. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Thanks for nothing.
