“We held my daughter's wedding shower in the meeting room at the event center. Everything was ready on time and the food was delicious! My only concern is that the room really isn't big enough to accommodate 25 guests comfortably. It was a bit crowded, and the a/c didn't seem to be working (I realize a technical difficulty such as the a/c is beyond the facility's control) or there were just too many people in the room. Other than that, it was excellent! I recommend Chicory Cafe and Event Center for your future event, whether it's in their ballroom or the meeting room. The Cafe is amazing too!”

“I have been staying here 1 night a week for the past 2 months, and this is one of the best holiday inns I’ve been too.FOH always makes me feel welcomed, which helps while out on the road.Rooms are a bit oversized compared to most other holiday inns I’ve stayed at. I’ve never questioned the cleaning protocol of the housekeeping staff.In 2 months, the only issue I’ve had, was housekeeping accidentally forgot to restock towels once before check-inn. This minor issue was quickly addressed by FOH, with no inconvenience to myself.”

“My girlfriend and I came in to see "Dune: Part 2" last night. The parking lot wasn't too busy, which is how I like it. This was the first time I have taken my girlfriend to a movie since we started dating, so I really wanted to impress her. This is a lengthy film, so I wanted to be sure we had ample snacks and beverages so we didn't have to get up during the film.Lexi and Emily helped us out at the snack bar. They were both extremely polite. They didn't seem overly pushy trying to sell us something we didn't want. That is a huge plus! We then headed over to the cafe area where Constance made us pretzel bites that we asked for. She asked us if we wanted butter and salt on them, something no one has ever asked me before. I don't eat a lot of salt, so I asked for light salt and she was happy to oblige.The seats were tremendously comfortable, which made for a nice time watching such a long movie. Our snacks and beverages lasted the entire film and we were both impressed with how clean the theatre looked.My only concern is that people are allowed to bring in their own pillows and blankets. That seems really unsanitary to me and did unsettle me a bit. Overall, my girlfriend loved the movie, she loved the experience and hopefully she will accompany me on many more dates to Cinemark!”

“Home2 Suites are always a nice consistent place to stay. Always clean. This one is about 10 minutes from Notre Dame which is very convenient. Nice neighborhood with lots of restaurants and stores around. The staff was very nice.The only drawbacks I've found to Home2 Suites is their breakfasts and their bedding. The breakfasts are very sparse. Really just pre-prepared wrapped egg sandwiches, cereal and waffles. The egg sandwiches are just like store bought (Jimmy Dean, etc.). They're not that good. Now, the bedding. . . . every Home2 Suites I've stayed at uses something analogous to a mattress pad as a blanket. I've always thought that was bizarre.Having said that, I'd recommend it as I'd stay there again because of the convenience, nice neighborhood and nice rooms.”
