My car was towed, via my AAA membership, to his garage due to a dead battery. He charged me $290 for a new battery. I had no choice but to pay it or I would need to have it towed again to another garage. He is rude \u0026 unfriendly.

Took my Honda Ridgeline in because the remote locks would not work nor the radio they put a fuse in for the radio $.73 put a battery in one of my remotes $10.89 charged me $300.00 labor and told me to take it to the dealer because they could not fix the problem. Never took a vehicle to a mechanic that could not do the work but still charge me for it. So I ended-up paying $300.00 for their Incompetence. I guess I should call Honda on making a defective truck. Their invoice states “Remember we do all types of repairs. We can fix any problem.” What a joke!

Anybody who gives less than 5 stars was not listening from the beginning. Been a proud customer for a long time. As a local doc and business owner, I know what it takes to stay in business for nearly 30 years as Thompson’s has!! Every instance, the diagnostic process, which I gladly paid for since I was not sure of the problem, was right on. Work was only initiated after I understood what needed to be done, and the associated price. This company does not deceive its customers. Straight talk and great service. I was referred by a dealer who could not find the cause of my issue!! Solid people, fair pricing, honest business.

Bought a nice Jeep from here. The car was in great condition with clean interior with great up-keep. Chris, the salesman, was very nice and made the process easy.

I know these guys personally and i have to say they know what they are doing. I will say this folks if you drive an American car your in for many repairs AND since you know little about automotive engineering you my friends are at the mechanics mercy. Cars today are highly technical and the back yard mechanic is history. YOUR GOING TO PAY A CHUNK TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT! Mike and his team are the best in the area in my book! So be prepared to pay at least 75 to 100 bucks and hour labor. In ten years there will be no big gas engines cuz we are going to electric hybrid type AND IT IS ABOUT TIME! DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM CROOKED BANKERS WHO CHARGE HIGH INTEREST/SUB PRIME LENDING? i REST MY CASE!! REPLACE YOUR BATTRY EVERY 3 YEARS NEEDED OR NOT...............MANY PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED WITH A FRESH BATTERY!

These guys will gladly take your money. In my case over $500 to not come up with a proper diagnosis. Had my car for over three days and literally had no clue. When I handed over my over $500 for absolutely nothing there was no kind of apology or sorry that we couldn’t figure out the problem. Truly don’t know how these bums are still in business. Should’ve taken it right to the dealership from the beginning. They fixed it for the same amount of money these clowns charge me for not being able to figure out what the Hells wrong with it. Avoid this place at all costs because it will wind up costing you. Sad

I am really kicking myself for not looking at reviews BEFORE I took my car to Thompson! I couldn't agree more with all the reviewers stating Thompson had their car in service too long with overpriced results. I needed a new battery and an oil change and asked if they could check out a noise...no diagnostics regarding the noise (isn't this in the name of the place??) and a bill for $350!!!! When I asked Mike how it could've taken 2.5 hours of labor, he totally went off on me. What kind of business/associate isn't willing to calmly offer an explanation? This guy was the WORST example of customer service and Thompson is responsible for his irrational behavior as well as the lousy, slow, overpriced 'service'. Their apparent lack of concern over satisfied customers will cost them...goes elsewhere!

I have been using these guys for a few years for alignments and numerous other things. Have treated me very fairly. Also, they have a lot of equipment for Computer programming and Etc. It has saved me a lot of money by being able to take cars here rather than the new car dealer.

The first time I brought my car in I had the check engine light on. It needed a very expensive part and, at the time I couldn't afford to replace it. The mechanic said he could fix it without replacing the part. He replaced a gasket and, down the road I went. Best $80 I ever spent!!! The check engine never came on again!!!
