Riggs customers be ware took an over in belt was coming off mower deck they called to tell me of other urgent problems as well . I asked for the parts to be returned after finished good thing I did turns out they charged me for parts never installed and labor some of the old parts they said were urgent were jus fine in my opinion and could have run much longer . But they had already installed them which was a much higher price the I had wanted to spend.after complaining he refunded the price of the part he never installed and some of the labor he charged for the part he never installed . They didn’t seem to like that I was upset about this . If I hadn’t asked for my parts back I would of never known they over charged me sounds like theft to me Riggs customers be ware they gouge and steal want a jacked up price go to Riggs but don’t get mad they don’t like when you raise your voice they expect you to just take . Good luck Riggs customers

After being in a few outdoor power equipment businesses today, while looking at overpriced lawn mowers, this was actually the best we experienced. The gentleman that gave us the prices of the 2 mowers we were interested in, didn't pressure, didn't waste our time, and told us about an ongoing promotion.
Another 15% and we would have left with a new mower, but may end up buying on the secondary market.
If you're looking for a new mower, there's nowhere else within the 4 hours and 2 states we went through, where they truly treated us like we mattered.

My mother received a quote on her Cub Cadet 60" zero turn for new carb, fuel flush and oil change for nearly $860. While I understand 40% of that quote was for an OEM carb... still. $500 for labor? C'mon Riggs. Brother and I did it ourselves for $110 (after market carb) and took us 1.5 hours to do everything. Even at a $350 carb cost, labor should only have been 2 hrs at most. Maybe $550 all in but not $860. Do better Riggs.
Update: After receiving some clarification from Riggs in their response, decided to revise the review. I still think $309 for labor is excessive given it took us 1.5 hrs to do the work and they're professionals. They do this all the time so they should be faster. I think $175-200 in labor at most would have been appropriate. And over $400 for a mower carb is highway robbery from Cub Cadet, obviously not Riggs fault.

Wasted an hour driving back and forth to this place because they have parts people who cannot look up simple maintenance parts for a zero turn even with all of the model numbers and information. Sadly its easier just to order parts online.
