I had the best experience with R&W Moving LLC. They showed up and were so kind and personable. They helped us in every way we needed and then some! They gave us great moving tips along the way. They were so incredibly efficient, the whole process was so quick and easy. We also had called to reserve their services very last minute and they were willing to help, even on such short notice. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for movers! Makes the very stressful process of moving so stress-free!

R&W Moving helped us move furniture within our home as we were healing. While they were gentle and careful with moving the furniture around corners, what I loved most was the education we received. David taught us how to take the furniture apart so that in the future we’d be able to move it ourselves. We would definitely use R&W again!

Working with David Rodriguez was great at the beginning. He was professional, responsive, and very friendly. He helped me move large items out of my home and into storage unit, then moved everything out of the storage units into my new home. They worked hard and I treated them with respect and kindness -- I even gave them doughnuts, pizza, and beer to thank them for all the hard work. I'm a firm believer that it's not what you look like that makes for a great customer experience. It's the service and support before, during, and after the sale that makes a lifelong customer. This is where David and R&W Moving failed me after such a great start. They used no moving gear to protect anything so all of my items not already boxed or toted by me were exposed to the expected U-Haul abuse. No moving blankets, no straps, nothing to keep the contents of my home safe. As a result, anything I didn't wrap up myself was scuffed, chipped, or otherwise cosmetically damaged. Fine. Things happen and for the cost, I dealt with it. There was only item I requested he and his crew please be careful moving -- my brand new treadmill. It was only a year old and I needed it delivered in one piece. They got it out of my home, loaded into the U-Haul, and dropped off into the storage unit. Instead of using the gas spring to keep the item level and upright, they place it folded on its end caps and closed up the storage unit.Fast forward a month, now it's moving day for everything's final destination in our new home. Upon delivery, the plastic casings that cover the length of the treadmill and the caps to which they connected were deformed from the weight of the unit and June heat. I brought this to Dave's associate who contacted him immediately. Dave arrived and tried to fix the damage, but to no avail. He told me to look up the items and if it warranted a claim with his insurance, he'd handle it. If not, he "work something out with me" to make it right.Well, after multiple texts, calls, and FB messages, he continues to ghost me. I told him I wanted to work this out with him, but he's continued to ignore my pleas for a conversation. I'd rather leave great reviews for the way things started, but unfortunately it appears Mr. Rodriguez has a history of this behavior based on other reviews I didn't read prior to engaging his company for help. What really bothers me is that I spent lot of time speaking with him about his friends, family, and the area in which we both live and work. I even gave him some shelving I was going to sell as a thank you for helping me out. He's a nice guy but this isn't the way you handle a problem. It's unprofessional and makes otherwise rational, understanding clients take to Google reviews just to get some closure. It's truly disappointing because I think Dave has a great personality and work ethic which could afford him so much more business.Final feedback - you get what you pay for. If a couple of guys in a U-Haul with a Dodge Durango and a dolly to clear out your garage or barn are what you're after, you can't beat R&W Moving for the price. If you want care taken of your home and its contents, pay the extra for a real moving company.

Phenomenal work ethic! David drove a U-haul for us from Indiana to Iowa. He then offered to unload 2 U-haul trucks because he found out our crew of 3 men scheduled to unload had canceled. David truly cares about his customers.

Not professional, left several item behind, poor packing, dropped several pieces and did not go back to collect them. After several attempts to contact to no avail they blocked the person that paid for the service. Please make it right contact Marcy Prochaska back.

David and company arrived on time and completed the job as expected. I will definitely use them again without question. I received a few quotes from the big companies and decided to go with David, I feel they did a great job.

BEWARE! David Rodriguez is a crook. He gave my husband and me an estimate for moving our furniture to Chicago, he asked for a deposit more than he had estimated before the move, and did not return it when he discovered he did not have enough insurance to make the move for us. We took him to court and he has not paid the court-ordered restitution.

the workers work hard - however they packed in such a way that damaged our furniture. upon requesting reimbursement for the damages, I was chronically put off, told insurance was getting back to me, and finally ignored. work with them at your own risk - have to now begin court proceedings to recover the over $2,000 in repair costs

David's workers are nice guys and they do work hard. If you have anything you value, do NOT use this company. We provided plenty of moving pads to protect our furniture. We were given reassurance that they would be as careful with it as if it was their own. They packed in such a way that we had to pay more than $2,000 in repairs. David "claims" he has contacted his insurance and has told me he'll do right. He hasn't. He's basically ghosted me. If it is stuff you don't really care about or is damage-proof, you'll be fine. Otherwise STAY AWAY

This is constructive criticism as I think the guys are nice but they are NOT professional movers. Not even close... They may be more suited for barn/garage clean outs or moves where everything is already in a box--NOT your furniture. I had a move with Allied a few years ago and it is day and night with the speed, skill, general experience level and professionalism. There was hardly any protective supplies. I supplied lots of packing paper and hardly any was used. Much of my stuff is now dirty and several things are broken. My Crate and Barrel dinning table was completely ruined to the point I cannot use it as a dining table. It was not wrapped and they placed the legs directly on the concrete, which scratched/removed the finish in chunks. They miscalculated the size of the truck they needed and had to get another, which I had to give them cash for them to go rent a truck. I was quoted around $1500 for the move but was charged over $2100 and had to pay CASH...or Paypal. I was not provided with a receipt other than for the deposit. The owner seems like a nice guy but needs to learn the business and get things in order. Always give your customers a receipt for payment--people need those for taxes or to get reimbursed. Get a contract in place, make sure you have insurance. Get some experience with professional movers so you can see how they do things.

This business was scheduled on January 8,2021 to unload a rental truck on January 20,2021 @ 10:00am. After waiting for more than a half hour, a call to the owner was made. He had to stutter and look for schedule after telling me that he couldn't find anything on schedule. He finally found his schedule and told me he would find a couple of guys and send them out. At this point I hired another business that made room in their schedule to unload our moving truck. Very disappointed in this business and would suggest consumers think twice before hiring R & W Moving.
