Rather cluttered, dirty, and dank. Tired looking store as if they really haven't done anything much since the store opened around 1980. Staff was not friendly nor engaged with any customers.

if i could give 0 stars i would absolutely do so. these dogs are treated so poorly. i called and asked how many times they get bathed per week and the lady said 2-3 times, well that's not how it smelled. the dogs looked miserable they where in tiny cages with other dogs stacked on top. could they make it any more obvious that these dogs where sick? i asked at the store how much the dog i wanted was and they said 4,800!!! that's crazy!! i called back and asked again, and they completely changed the price to 5,200$!!!!! that's crazy! why did they change the price? and why have such a high price for dogs that are treated so so poorly! DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!! it encourages puppy mill and it's crazy bad. they are extremely rude to not only the animals but also customers!! i don't understand how you can be so rude and expect to have a successful business. you would think with all the one star reviews they would change the way they act. please do not support this horrible business.

The dogs were laying in their own feces and none of the other animals had clean cages. Not a single animal had a cage that was the minimum size for one animal, and most cages had 6-10 animals in each. The cages in the middle had no top, so people could reach in and touch the bunnies hamsters ect. No sign saying not to. Even the parakeet cage has no top. Whole shop smelled of animal urine and feces. A horrible disgusting shop only used to sell mass sell animals.

Check out Homeward Bound shelter and you will see each and every one of these puppy mill dogs that have "aged out" of their pet store cuteness. Someone please shut down the puppy mill supplying these. Probably Amish, who are notorious for puppy mills. I adopted one of the Homeward Bound ex-breeder Frenchies. I love her so much, but at 4 years old, she clearly had never seen a television, stairs, a mirror--makes you wonder what her life was while they were using her to produce scads of puppies. While I only rescue dogs, I wonder if getting one from HBound is helping or hurting this situation. If the "aged out" dogs are allowed to be in the shelter, then they just breed a brand new batch to get puppies all over again. So sad. Please do not buy from here. We have to put this place out of business.

Absolutely rude workers I went in today and held a puppy that was filthy skinny and has a large lump on his neck which they did not care about. Their animals were out together so many of them that the gunny pigs fight each other a mouse has no hair or skin on it's back and most of the animals look sick. The last time I was in their one of the puppy's had bit on other puppy and they let it get infected and it was on hold/sick dayFor WEEKS. The dogs are over priced AF. A full blooded German shepherd with papers is about $300-$450 yet their selling them for $1300????!!! Not fixed or wormed or anything. I hope they get shut down. ?

This is the first store that I’ve seen where you can touch the bunnies, mice, birds and Guinea pigs (I think I got all the animals) and that seems like a bad idea???? Like being touched by rough hands all day seems like a terrible thing for these little beings. And the dogs god how heartbreaking they are in such tiny cages one on top of each other! For $1200 a puppy you could do so much more to be more humane.

Horrible place to get an animal. All animals are cramped in small spaces & touched by people all day. Puppies behind glass and have zero bedding, they have grates underneath them so that their pee & p*** just drop through the grates. The whole place stinks. Animals are skinny. I took my daughter in to potentially get a puppy & was horrified by the living conditions of these animals. Please do something to change this.

The pine bedding is inhumane. We couldn't breathe well after being in there less than a minute, as full grown humans. Those rabbits and guinea pigs and other small animals are in that bedding all day. They're literally suffocating the animals by using pine bedding.

Purchased my 5 year old dog from him, I’m confused by these assumptions rather than actual reviews, my dog came with his first vet check from a reputable vet in town, came chipped, and they are not bred from puppy mills they come from a selection of different small breeders. We were given all of the info for my dogs breeder at the time of purchase.

This store is heartbreaking. First, their puppies are in small cages with grates, no bedding- nothing. FOUR golden retriever puppies in a 20”x 20” space But let’s talk about these Siamese kittens. There were 5 in this skinny, small cage. Water dispenser full of mold/green grossness. No bedding-they were laying in the cat box. ONE toy. When I asked the young, clueless employee (who was more interested in their coffee drink and texting) why they don’t have any toys she responded with “well there’s one in there, a ball over there I was just going to put in there and someone broke the string toy.” You’re a pet store… you couldn’t grab one off the shelf? At $1,200 a piece, I would hope they would be properly cared for. Highway robbery, POOR living conditions for all the pets, and clueless employees.

Closes my store 10 minutes early just to get my sons crickets for his geckos make it all the way down to pats pets with seven minutes to spare. The doors were shut With people still in the store I asked the lady if I could just get crickets and she told me we’re closed and it wasn’t even eight I told her I close my store early to come and get them, and she smiled and shrugged her shoulders. With all the bad reviews that this place gets you would think they would want to strive for better customer service skills just lost a customer.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I came in one day just because I was curious. They have a Siamese cat and I am so disappointed. The cat has no litter and has a dirty cage. Im si sad for this cat.

absolutely terrible... they need shut down. the way they treat the animals, the neglect, the puppy milling, the very very sick animals that they want PROFIT off of. it's ridiculous, they need shut down and more people need to stand up for what's right. these poor babies don't deserve this... not at all. we need to get them SHUT DOWN FOR GOOD.

Horrible animal practice these puppies are bred just to be sold, crammed into little cages with other puppies all day and night where people can just come and look through glass at them, there’s been many public posts about these animals dying from diseases shortly after purchasing, and the staff and management does not care. It makes me want to cry just walking past this place in the mall. I have no idea how this place does not get shut down!

Sadly I can’t give less than one star. Animals are kept in tiny confined spaces with no bedding and are returned at night to a cramped space in a back room. They purchase from puppy mills and mark up the price 4x what it should be.
