This is a beautiful place to go for a walk. It is open to the public, and leashed dogs are welcome. There is network of trails, a lovely little creek, and places to sit and enjoy nature.There are also buildings to rent, and covered shelters for fun picnic spots.

The Res has been A fixture in Mishawaka For well over 50 years. It is open to the public. Take your dog and your kids and enjoy some nature on the beautiful trails. Facilities are available for your group camping, or 44 your family event. We had my daughter's rehearsal dinner in the Jernegan Lodge 10 years ago. Just lovely...

The Res is a 23-acre youth camp and nature center located on the east side of Mishawaka, Indiana. Originally founded in 1920 as a Boy Scout Reservation, “The Res” is now owned by the non-profit organization, The Preservation of the Res, Inc.
Trails are free to walk seven days/week. Overnight stays are available for rent by youth groups and Res Member families. Day use facilities can accommodate youth camps, church services and retreats, weddings, graduation and birthday parties, work retreats, field trips, nature walks, and more.
