The gas price was lower than other nearby places, so we stopped. The first pump we tried didn't work, but the second one did.

Avoid this location and use station a block down the road unless you're okay with them charging your card twice after you attempt to use one of their defective pumps for gas. Lady behind the counter was incredibly rude after I explained what happened. They also put unauthorized holds on your account any time you purchase gas.

So my boyfriend and I are trying to pay rent using their money gram system. Mind you, my apartment complex allows the rent to be paid through that system at this location, in fact even recommends it. My boyfriend goes there today TWICE today to try to pay it and should have only needed to go ONCE. The first time he went, a certain employee, who im assuming is the one everyone else is upset with in previous reviews, decided to tell my boyfriend that “he didn't know how to do the money and didn't want to mess anything up, and therefore couldn't help him get the money gram sent to have our bill paid.†So after telling my boyfriend that, he recommends a time for my boyfriend to come back to THE SAME DAY. So he goes back at that time, and is met with the same employee, except this time he is greeted with an eye roll, and the same “no sir I cannot help you with that.†I'm irritated at this point because we're just trying to pay our rent, and this is the only way we can right now. So I call this place and it's the guy who my boyfriend was talking about that answers and I ask to speak to the manager. Dude puts the phone down, starts speaking to someone and says “he's not available, he will be in tomorrow 10AM.†I'm livid but I say thank you and hang up. So I called corporate and left them a voicemail and hopefully they can knock some sense into these people, bc the customer service and lack of employee training is clearly a mess. CORPORATE, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS.

Worst store ever! Tried to get a car wash. Dryer is broken, called to make the store aware of the situation and he acted like he had no idea what is going on. Could hardly speak English! If you are in this country you should be able to speak and understand the language. Never will go here again!!!

Dont bother going here for anything. Place was sold to company in Texas so it's mostly new staff. The one guy can hardly speak English I've asked for breakfast food the last six times I've stoped and was told they don't make that item anymore because it doesn't sell. Staff is rude and currently the soda fountain is out of order and no lottery. Also the store is cluttered and check the dates on ur bottled drinks... I've bought expired drinks before

Everyone is always super friendly and nice, and the price on fountain refills is great. We go out of our way to stop in here, now.

Car wash is the worst. Absolute worst. You will get better results by gathering 10 friends and having them spit on your car...

I've often bought car washes here when I've stopped for gas, but three times this summer it has turned into a big headache. The first time the car wash sign said "Open" at 10 pm but it was actually closed. I learned this only after I'd paid at the pump for the wash. The second time I was charged more than the listed price because the pump computer wasn't working correctly, and the children inside didn't know how to correct it. They had neither the authority nor the common sense to just give me, the customer, a refund and straighten it out internally later. The third time (today) the car wash was broken because a hose that sprays cars as they enter the wash wasn't operating, but the pump sold me a wash anyway. I waited at the car wash entry for five minutes, then called the station from my cell phone in my car and was told the wash was broken. When the girl came out to explain, I asked for a refund and was told the gas station pumps and the car wash code box are separately operated. Translation: "You the customer are SOL." I asked why they leave the wash open and continue to sell washes at the pump when the wash is broken. The blonde 16-year-old who was left in charge of the station said I was the only customer who has complained about it. She said other customers didn't mind that the initial spray at the wash was broken. I asked her if she knew why it's important to spray down a car before it enters a car wash, as normally happens. She blushed, shrugged and admitted she didn't know why. The employees are all high school kids, not trained to operate the cash registers or make problem-solving decisions when something unexpected happens. Never, ever again! There's a real car wash less than one block away! It's not as convenient as washing my car at the gas station, but this particular Marathon station at Grape and Edison is a huge exercise in frustration lately.
