I had my sleep study done one year ago and have been trying to get a CPAP from Lincare ever since. I call every week to only hear we will look into it to never hear back. I have been referred to Alec Home Medical and with in two days I have an appointment to be fitted for my machine. What took Lincare a year and still wait took Alec’s two days.

Like many other reviews i have been waiting for a CPAP machine for over a year, i started at alecs home medical however my insurance has had me stuck with lincare and its all been downhill since.

They claim they have ordered a CPAP machine for me but somehow "can't find the tracking number." I have called 3 times a day each day this week. They always claim it will be delivered the next day...do I have the machine I need to breathe? Of course not. Absolutely incompetent.

I Would give it zero stars also if I could. We have been using Lincare for 7 years now for my mother... she has moved out of state and I called Lincare's number on the oxygen tanks, waited well over 35 minutes for someone to pick up the phone, finally talked to someone and told them that my mother is no longer living here and we need all the oxygen tanks picked up. She took down my address and phone number and said that she will direct this request to the facility in my area (Mishawaka, In.) for a driver to come get the tanks. A month and a 1/2 later I called again after no one called me or came to pick the tanks up.. again I waited 30 minutes till someone picked up the call... it was the same woman I talked to the first time. She again took my request and transferred the info to Mishawaka, In. facility... now it's been another week and STILL no callback from Mishawaka. I just got off the phone for the third time and the same woman told me that when Mishawaka doesn't answer their phones, the call is redirected automatically to this facility. I felt bad that this poor woman had to do the job that the people in Mishawaka should have done 3 times.. and that's ANSWER THEIR PHONE, CALL THE CUSTOMERS BACK, AND DO THEIR JOB!! This is PURE INCOMPETENCE on Mishawaka's Lincare facility and the Management needs a visit from the District or Regional Manager and RETRAIN all employees in that facility to DO THEIR JOB or just fire everyone and hire a completely new staff. Something needs to be done about Lincare's poor performance and Customer Service by the other reviews I've just read.

It took me 4 calls and 5 days to get an answer that they could have told me on the first call. What a waste of their time and mine. I see why they only have a rating of 2.6

I Would give it zero stars also if I could. The customer service and delivery people have always been very polite and professional with me. They are a god-send and the oxygen they provide me has enabled me to live my life as full as possible. I highly recommend this company and appreciate the service and goods they supply.

My experience was horrible. The worst service ever. No one there knows what they r doing. I would not recommend this place to any one for any reason. Was very rude and I also had to wait till one woman finally noticed me outside the glass windows jus before they unlocked the door to ask me why I was there. They certainly didn't want to be bothered with having to do a little work. I would never go back there. I would rather do without whatever I need.

Completely agree, wishing I could give zero stars. Not only did they treat me like a huge annoyance the building is not even handicapped accessible. They were very rude. When I entered the building the second door was locked and I had to wait until someone noticed me before they peeked out the door and with a terrible tone said, "What do you need?" When I explained she rolled her eyes, asked for a birth date and then said, "Well, do you own the wheelchair or what?" I explained it was a rental and I had called this morning ahead of time. When I entered the office I was shocked at how messy it was. Paper -everywhere-, no place to sit and wait, their desks were horribly messy, filing cabinets filled on top, on the sides, it was like a someone hadn't organized things in months. This must be just how Lincare runs things because I was talked down to by 2 Indianapolis employees and the one who gave us the wheelchair literally said nothing to me but handed me paperwork to sign. If you can go somewhere else, avoid this company!

Horrible! They don't have a plan in place for newborn babies who have no insurance yet(pending), who need a biliblanket. Alicks home medical was ready and willing to get me the blanket I needed asap but dont take my insurance. I would NEVER recommend them, really rude!!!
