Scored some great deals on shoes ?
However, when asked about applying for a J C Penney card I was told it would only take a couple minutes... 20 minutes later and a call from Penney's to verify again and again... And again... Without completing anything, I finally told them to forget it. This all put a heavy hit on my credit report... Dropping my credit score 20 points!!! So Buyer beware!!!!

Impossible to get a hold of over the phone. I had a question about their products, I tried calling their ph# and got nowhere. I spoke with an overseas call agent twice and they weren't of much help. One gave me a tip to try different extensions, and I did but the call just rang and went unanswered. I just wanted to go and buy something, but wanted to make sure they had what I was looking for before I drove there. Oh well, they lost a customer

I will like to say thank you to Dru. He was patience with me while I was trying to figure out this coupon situation. Dru was genuinely, helpfully, knowledgeable and accommodating. He called his manager to see if I can get the 20.00 off 50.00 purchase. Unfortunately the manger denied me the 20.00 off coupon. Dru has excellent customer service skills. I really appreciate him!

Clearance prices are still crazy expensive for being clearance out items. Also, I came with my grandma and we both agree that this company should not be sending out $10 off coupons for credit card users if you can't even use it on everything. So many exclusions you can't even get something for a decent price. I was happy that they finally had one of the upstairs registers open, cause it's usually just the ones downstairs. We get not being able to use the 30% off of clearance and the number of other things for a generic coupon that goes to anyone. But your card users shouldn't have so many exclusions to where your customers that come often enough to have one of them, doesn't have to find something that is twice than what it's worth.

This is one of the worst department stores i've been in in a long time. Never mind that it's easily the worst JCPenneys. I've ever been in this one pretty much takes the cake for all department stores out there. If all JC Penney sent the clothes that they couldn't sell to 2 or 3 JCPenneys, and then those sent the clothes they couldn't sell to this JCPenneys that might be close to what we're looking at.... I mean...it's Bad. Really bad. They did have some sales racks from 30-80% off, but unless you are xxs or XXXL don't bother. And the bathroom was downright freaky gross. 3rd world almost.... Only 2 checkout counters. Not good. Hard sale, this one.
