This worthless joke of a rental company. Takes your reservation, charges you then when you go to pick up the vehicle they don’t have it. Wasted an hour driving here for absolutely nothing. Unprofessional garbage. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We book a car online and when we came to their office to pick the car, they told us we don’t have any car available and in the website they show all the available car in all branches. It cause a delay in our plans and waste a great deal of time. They even weren’t sorry about that!

Horrible service… We reserved a car for my husband business trip and this Hertz Car rental DID NOT HAVE the car for us. Instead, they gave us a broken windshield electric car which was not get cleaned inside and out. Not even fully charged. They told us there are no other options, take it or cancel it. The person who was working on 3/4/2024 was very unprofessional and rudest person we’ve ever met. Also, there are no Tesla charger stations where we’re going to stay which is more stressful. We have a baby with us and it was impossible for us to cancel and being no car. Unbelievable.

Staff was very nice but the crappy jeep they gave me wasn't the model I wanted. Though it was a mid size suv I guess, it was dirty and smelled bad inside. Cup holders were sticky, cruise control didn't work. The jeep seems to slip, I'm just very disappointed because the prices were the same as other carriers and the base model isn't all that great. For $208 I wanted a nice comfy Kia.

Iam honestly disappointed and over hertz to say the least. My girlfriend reserved a Tesla online over 3 weeks in advance and paid $174 with the confirmation of 0$ at pickup just for us to get there and they try to charge her an extra $400 and say that the teslas they have are having tire issues and then after tell us “they can’t rent a Tesla to someone under 25 anyway without being a gold a member” and none of this was advertised on the website they should have told us all of this and not let us reserve it while being under 25 and it’s like now she is out of $200 for 10 business days and it’s like they seemed like they didn’t know what they were talking about as they kept asking the other employee for confirmation a honestly just done with hertz will not rent from there again!

tried directly calling this place to speak with an agent/clerk..... forget it...given only 5 options...then "Good-bye" AI hung up on me... Flying into South Bend and wanted to know if they offer a shuttle all the way to Mishawaka; because that was the only option listed.... Hertz deserves to go under with customer service like this...

If I could have put 0 stars I would have I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and when I came for my reservation they told me they didn’t have any cars and to come back Monday. Monday came still didn’t have any cars but people were dropping and picking up still. I almost lost my job over this. Do not depend on them for nothing.

I rent from this location for work on a weekly basis and receive incredible service. Kenny and the entire team have my back on whatever I need and have become invaluable partners to get my work done. Treat them with respect and the respect comes back to you ten fold.

Manager didn't come in, and they are the only one that can update car stock.So my reservation didn't really mean I had a reservation.Cost me time, money, and stress.Seems like if someone wants the title of manager, they need to do something to earn it.

Had a reservation made days prior to pick up I get there they try to tell me they don’t have a vehicle then all of a sudden they do but I have to pay a $500 deposit. I told him I wasn’t doing that and that I would go elsewhere but still charge me the $40 No-show fee definitely will not rent from this one

I've rented from here 3 different times. The first time was so so. Got an upgrade to a mini van ?. The Honda Odyssey wasn't bad just didn't wanna be seen driving it. The Jeep Gladiator was a nice surprise though. Then the last time was a GMC terrain. It was quite nice as well.

I have to say that the gentleman who run this branch are fantastic. Even drink some Notre Dame football games where the national office didn't understand what the demand would be these guys kept things light and humorous and made it so I went back another time even though I had been disappointed the first time. I cannot recommend this Branch highly enough!

Booked and confirmed a reservation online, only to be called by the local office the day before I was to pick up the car and informed that, in fact, they don't have any cars available, so I was stuck. Apparently, their online system has no idea about the inventory at any local office. Thanks, Hertz.
